Good deal this - did it a Christmas so does not seem to be offering it to me now. If you can get it, get it :)

£5 for a £100 spend. Very gave me £25 for a £50 spend. This is one of the meanest promotions I have ever seen particularly from one of the richest companies in the world.

Argos do better.

What about the £10. off a £50. spend on 1 day in January.

If you are going to spend at Amazon anyway during the year you might as well take advantage of this. Where else can you get a 5% return on your money these days.

Then compare Very prices, and Argos against Amazon and you'll see why the others can give bigger "discounts". Heat added.

I used this along with the £10 off £50 deal on booze to save myself £15 on some fine wine.

-170 says it all. People commenting obviously didnt read my comment about Very. I have a Tesco voucher in front of me £7 off £50 spend. I bought several items from Argos recently and got £50 off a £200 spend so im sorry £5 off a £100 is pretty outrageous for Amazon. A bit of self promotion going on here I think. I use Amazon several times a week but I have to say they aint generous.

Irrespective of the heat, a fiver is not to be scoffed at. I lapped up the offer gratefully.

There are plenty of items that are for sale at Amazon that are not available at Tesco, Argos or Very. I am sorry that the free fiver was not good enough for you.

Why cold? It's something for nothing. People complaining that Argos are more generous don't seem to realise that Argos are more desperate to drag people back in to stores.

I claimed fine, got the credit within 30 seconds and was able to use it right away.

Bonus £5 was used first and the rest has a £10 year expiry date on it.
