Just had an e-mail about this.

There is a print out voucher (see go to deal link) that you can redeem for a £50 Argos voucher when you buy any Dyson over £180. This can be used in conjunction with the spend over £100 and get a £10 voucher that is currently running in store = £60 in vouchers!

Make sure you print it out before you go to the store!

Dammit, the dyson I want is £179.99....hot offer tho! It's weird that they don't just state £60 free voucher, as all purchases for this offer will be over £100 by default anyway!

I bought a Dyson for £179.99 and got the £50 voucher with this deal in February. I did have to go to two stores until I found a reasonable cashier though..

Beware that if you try to buy an item from Argos using a gift voucher, you will not be able to get the £50 voucher deal as their tills will not let them accept a voucher against another voucher.

The £50 gift voucher is issued by adding it to your purchase, then using a code to take it off again. If you try to pay part of full with a voucher you already have, the till will reject the transaction as I found out when I tried to use a gift voucher towards a Dyson last time this was on.

For example if you buy a Dyson costing £229, the till will show the receipt as:
Dyson £229
'Free' gift voucher £ 50
Total £279

Less voucher (using a code they have at the till) £ 50
Amount to pay £229

So in effect you are buying a gift voucher you haven't asked to buy, and therefore you cannot use a previous voucher towards it.

Would be a good deal if Dysons were any good. We've had 2 over the years, "no loss of suction", pah. The upright Bissell Liftoff we got a few years ago walks all over Dyson.

would never buy another dyson
since they moved production from the uk

Keep the £60 handy. It'll come in useful when the Dyson blows up or you could use it to buy the "special" wood floor attachment (a plain old vacuum head) for which Monsieur Dyson charges extra

Can you buy more than one dyson product to take it over 180, like a handheld with some accessories ?

+1, just upgraded from a pet (purple) Dyson which was not very good at all to a SEBO which is excellent and makes you realise how poor the Dyson was, the carpets looks so much cleaner now it's staggering to see the difference. Plus it's so much lighter, quieter and easier to use.

However, if you want a Dyson this deal is hot, so heat added.

great deal;

£200 for the dc24 (reduced from £280), I actually was allowed to use the £50 voucher with the Dyson so only paid £150 and then got a £10 voucher - super!
