has the notebook got a 1.6ghz processor and is it a 8 inch or 10 inch screen :whistling:

For £2.50, it must be a kid's toy laptop with a monochrome LCD.

It's only 148 × 210 :-D. No batteries required though.

I have a feeling the VAST majority will be the 2-For-1 vouchers. Places like these don't like giving anything out for free. They would rather you pay full price. With the 2-For-1, they know they'll also get the added benefit of 2 people purchasing popcorn and the like.

Edit* Shouldn't this be in Competitions?

Voted hot, as my last cineworld ticket cost about £8 (for Avatar) and that was on the cheap day!
Don't think 2 for 1 is likely to appeal to those in Kent as the nearest independent listed is in London

The way I read it was that you could choose whether you wanted a cineworld ticket, or an (indies) 2 for 1 card, though I could be wrong (it's unclear from the website). I can't confirm this as I haven't bought a notebook yet. The full T&Cs are on the linked website - it's one per household.

There is also a competition...to win a trip to Hollywood.

I know it's a bit cheeky, but can you do the following?

Get the 2-4-1 card with 3 month validity and use it with Cineworld Unlimited card - for the whole 3 months ?
Like the way we can use 2-4-1 on Orange Wednesdays.

Tried going through the terms and conditions and there's nothing which says u can't really do that. Also no where it states that U can't use the 2-4-1 card in Cineworld

Any thoughts ??

It may say you can't use the free ticket or 2-4-1 in conjunction with any other offer on the back of the ticket/voucher.

Looks like you only get ONE free ticket to Cineworld (not the 2 for 1 for 3 months... which is for the indies only). It also looks like you can therefore have a mate use the 'free ticket' independently to your 'Unlimited' card. Can anyone confirm whether Cineworld (and other cinemas?) has started to charge 80p per pair of 3D glasses please??? Says so under their prices = £7.50 + £1.90 + £0.80 per adult = £10.20 each....AAARGGHHH! :w00t:

hi tomba,

the last time I was there, they charged £0.80 for the 3 D glasses. ( if yu already have one, u don't have to pay this extra any more, just take it with u)
Also charged another £1.30 (this is a charge made for Unlimited Card users for watching a 3D movie)

So it was Unlimited card + £1.30 + 0.80p in total. Sorry not very sure of the normal ticket prices but the 0.80p is the same for everyone, I suppose

I have never been charged for the glasses - they just sit on the desk - so guess it just depends?

Anyone know how long it takes to get the tickets? I want to see Avitar and used to use "Orange Wednesdays", but my other 1/2s day off has changed and Wednesday is the only day we can't make.

so i am looking for some cheap tickets so that we can see it on another day.

Can you use these 'free' tickets for a 3D film? And if so, how long will it take to get them?

Just to confirm - you complete a form and tick to choose either a free Cineworld ticket OR the 2 for 1 card for use in some indy cinemas.

Had a look in WH Smiths earlier.

Not exactly fully detailed is it? I'll bereallyannoyed if it doesn't allow me to see Avatar in 3D again, it's the only thing worth watching.

Well - those are the full T&Cs. Perhaps you should contact them on the email / phone number provided, ask your question and post here for the benefit of everyone?

I've already done that (emailed them that is).

what was the code you needed for the form to claim the free ticket?

The clue is 'enlightenment reveals the key'
