No offence but I think that the suits from Matalan are prob only worth that as you'll only get a couple of wears out of them before they start to look carp.
#5
I Dont think you can compare Matalan and M &S please. They are poles apart in terms of quality. If there is better deal than this please post it
#6
Great deal, but I like to try on a suit and don't fancy having to send it all back if the jacket doesn't fit quite right.

lol.

OT: Good deal - I do however think that anyone who might want a quality suit would already have one and couldn't justif the purchase in the current economy.

have people stopped wearing suits?

Unfortunately not.
My Other Half just spent £375 on a suit today :x

I went there today, picked up a Collezione suit for £96 half price and a free suit bag :). If something is almost your size, but not quite then you can have any item altered for £8 per alteration.

lol - you might later regret buying a matalan suit ...

I bought a pair of work shoes from Officers Club reduced to £16 on Sunday... and they broke on Tuesday!! Most expensive 2 days of shoe wearing of my life...

And now the bloody shop has closed down...!!
#21
Excellent, I could do with a new suit. Not sure if the shirt's going to fit but worse case I'll take it back to the shop
#22
I picked up 2 x 100% pure wool suits in the M&S sale for less than £29 each on Monday!!! The jackets and trousers were on separate racks...so took about an hour to match up trousers and jackets, but since the original prices were £149 and £179 I'm happy with a near £280 saving!!

I'd only ever buy in store.....as others say....I like to try clothes on rather than risk buying on line...but still a very good deal! Voted HOT Thanks to the OP

Officers Club was the worst shop in the world, they had a fake 70% off everything sale for like a decade, im glad they've gone under
#24

I don't think M&S suits are that good anyway, ordered some a few months ago online and sent them back because they just looked cheap, they had a cheap sheen about them. On the other hand I ordered a few as well fron the Burtons offer that was on here and i am not one to go into a Burton's store but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the detail that I ordered a few more especially since they did a decent number of slim fit suits as well. The shoes in this offer are definitely not my style if they were they would tip the balance and make it a very good deal. Voted hot based on the deal but won't be buying.

Wow!! How do you get to 400+ posts in about 6 months, member for 4 years and not even 20 posts yet :) . I strive to find deals but someone else always gets there and posts it before me. I am starting to feel left out :(
#37
Ive got 2 years out of a M & S Performance suit, machine washable, very smart still even after regular wear and lots of travel including the middle east. I have cheap suits and expensive suits the M&S one in my opinion is by far the best value

You'd better get down to DFS then, I hear they have a sale on!
#39
factor in dry cleaning with this though. I'd plump for the machine washables, much cheaper in the long run. As already posted, you can get good wear out of them. one jacket two pairs of trousers, job done.

looks a good deal to me thanks
