Was looking to buy a new suit and black shoes yesterday, and popped into Burton in Plymouth town centre to find an amazing deal!

Buy a suit jacket and trousers for £99 and get a shirt, tie and black shoes for free! That's right, all this for £99.

Plus, if you're lucky enough to be a student, an extra 10% student discount! So I got my new suit, shirt, tie and black shoes for the princely sum of £89.10! Could not believe the deal I got!

Assume its nationwide, although I have only been in the Plymouth branch. The deal does not seem to be available online.

Hope this helps.

Checkout http://www.burton.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaticPageDisplay?storeId=12551&catalogId=20553&identifier=br1%20newsletter
10% off your next purchase in store. Might work? :w00t:

EDIT: 10% link only for online it would seem - although 10% student discount in store?

So is this offer on one specific suit or the entire range?
#7

Matalan have suits for £40 with a free shirt and tie.

I know, but if you're looking at cheap suits

Burtons suits are so poorly made, they're ok for the one off, or the occasional wear. Good deal tho

Not true, I have around 6 suits at the moment, 3 burtons, 2 ben shermans and one Calvin Klein.

The Calvin Klein is the one with tears under the armpits, and it's the one i wear least. The Burtons suits are all going good.

have to agree partly ... spent £130 for a suit a year ago and it's probably worth half that.

again, will agree partly, they do last but they resemble matalan suits more than they resemble CK (in quality)

If you are making a joke that the fact your wearing a Burtons Suit will impact on your chance of passing the interview you are indeed a very vain person.

Please remember that no suit states the name on the outside so it will not be evident to anyone where you got your suit from, furthermore the majority of interviews (sexist comment coming) are conducted by males, who frankly tend to not give a rats ass about clothes. Thirdly even if the person is as vain as you, if you are the right person for the job he'll still employ you. The suit your wearing definately won't swing it.

If your not referring to the suit affecting your chances of getting the job i apologise,

It's still on in store.

I think I did the best out of this.

Got suit in store for £99, minus 10% discount. Total: 89.10

Decided to return it (got a nicer one in the Next sales) but needed a shirt and tie.

Returned suit, and bought a £15 shirt and £7 tie, £22 total (minus 10% ~ £19.80).
Got refunded £79.20 for some reason after the shirt/tie were taken off, I asked her why, and she just said "Meh"

Shirt didn't fit, so returned it for a £15 gift card.

So got a £7 tie, and £15 gift card for Topman/Burtons all for £9.90.
