Great deal... I got the 'Tribute' last time, was meant to be £4.25 and tastes lovely!
#3
Good deal, I bet less people are buying over priced coffee in the recession

If you get a Starbucs card you can get a tall coffee for £1... which isn't too bad.

This may sound a bit daft but how do you grind the beans so I can stick it in my coffee machine?

Yeah they will FOC, just tell them the type of machine you have, filter or espresso.

Thanks - got mine last week too. Noticed someone in the queue in front just showed the barista a pic of the voucher on her smartphone and there wasn't a problem - so consider the environment and don't bother printing unless you have to!

"Your barista will help you choose from 17 different types of coffee and grind it freshly for you too. It’s our way of saying a great big thanks for making us part of your day."

If you "hate" their coffee then why do you want some free? Or do you mean the company?

to get the reward card you need to put a min. of £5 on it.

a large filter coffee is usually £1.90 but with the card it knocks off 40p so it's only £1.50

the smaller versions are only £1 including discount

You have to purchase a 'handcrafted beverage' to receive the free bag of coffee beans. That usually means a latte, capuccino, mocha, etc. rather than a filter coffe.

Not a big fan of the company, not a fan of their coffee, never had a good one there.
I've drunk coffee widely in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Brazil, in particular, and always find a local Italian or Portu-Brasil coffee shop offers that fruity, rich, deep, wine-like flavour that celebrates the bean. Starbucks has always been bland and invariably served by the bucket load!
However, I will be buying one of Thursday in the hope that things have improved and will try the coffee at home through my trusty Signor Bialetti in the hope it can bring some goodness out of those beans that they can't manage in store - and no, I don't want froth and super grande!

Get a Starbucks card, brings it down to £1

Bring your own container (i.e. cup), they take 25p off.

People actually bring their own cups. Surely if they wanted to save money, if they filled the cup with coffee before they left home then they would save even more.

I work round the corner from a Starbucks and I just bring a flask to work thats around 2 cups full, I usually just pop round once or twice a day to get it filled for 75p.

I asked for a double espresso last week and that wasn't eligible for the discount according to the barista behind the counter, so had to order a wet latte instead. I'm gonna try at another branch and see what happens; I'll just walk to the one I went to last week, turn around and there'll be another shop in front of me.

But they did accept the voucher off of my phone, which was good.
#22
Thanks OP. I prefer Costa but Starbucks is closest to me.

Just when my shift pattern changes to 7-11 pm
No coffee for me. :(

Great deal, especially if you get their Tribute blend. I got two bags in last week's deal, so I'll give it a miss this time round.

oO Fail to see the funny side just because people know about coffee. I don't like how Starbucks make their coffee either - in fact, I go as far to say that MacDonalds make a better coffee than that or Costa come to that. At least with a free bag, you can make it how you want yourself.

Hot from me.

going for free coffee now : ))

Does it work at the service stations or does it have to be proper shops? No shops close but there is a service one!
#34
The wife and I just picked up a bag each from Starbucks Pinner. Seem to have plenty left. No need to print off. Just bring the page up on iPhone or the like and they're happy with that. Theres still time left!
#35
None left at Byres road tesco boo, wasted my ink and time lol
