Sounds good.

Problem is people list them free, months later forget they put them on, I ordered one once, paid, person no longer had the book, Green Metropolis had taken the money, but do NOT refund you, they put you in credit, had quite a job getting my money back.

I think it'll be 75p each, reading between the lines, you sell the book for £3.75 and receive 3 from it.

Green Metropolis gets discussed over on MSE quite a bit. Personally I don;t think its worth the hassle if you are selling, I had books on for over a year with no sale. Better of with www.readitswapit.co.uk, much easier way to get rid of unwanted books and you get one you want back in return.

the seller pays the postage

So you sell a book for £3.75, they get 75p and you pay 2 quid (ish) postage? Why is this hot?

Don't think this is a good deal for the buyer either.

Amazon Marketplace have the books I usually want a lot cheaper....usually for 1p and just pay the postage, usually ends up at about £2.75

This site's been around for over 12 months and it's good for book buyers.

You can usually find a book you want cheaper than the usual online stores if someone's selling it although, it is second hand and postage is free.

As a seller, though, it's not so good. You get £3.00 for your book and have to pay the cost of postage to the buyer. I've had to pay up to £2.00 sometimes plus the cost of buying brown wrapping paper and petrol to the Post Office which leaves me out of pocket. I'd have been better off taking the book to recyling instead.

I've just listed loads of books, Kids, Adults, Cooking etc. I'm quite happy to pay the postage and it gives you the option to add extra money if there heavy books so you won't be out of pocket.
