Nice one! Never seen a multibuy offer from Dell before but it's a hot deal! Heat added...

They’re showing as £176.25 each so even after the discount the price isn’t great; £282 for two 19” TFTs = £141 each. They look pretty good but I’d hardly call them a bargain as I’d want at least 20” 1680x1050 at that price. Cold for me.

Dell's monitor prices are always at the higher end :)

Dell's monitor prices are always at the higher end :)

That's why I don't think 20% off is a good deal.

How is this hot, it's pants.....
Rubbish - Dell stuff is seriously over priced, I was due to order a server from them and specked it up using the online tool, came out a 10K, spoke to our account manager at Dell and got the same system for under 5k, just shows the make up they have on there stuff.

Not too hot for me when compared to other sources - sorry

Hi,always take into account what panel it uses VA,NT or IPS etc.
Dell for example use a Samsung S-PVA type panel in there 2408WFP monitor,so its more expensive(prob a fair bit) than if it was a common TN type panel.
Now VA type panels are fast(well enough for most peeps, even if they game alot),price diff as gone done abit, plus there advantages over a NT type(wouldn't buy a NT now). Its well worth considering one.So its worth checking out what panel this as,then only compare to monitors which have the same type panel.

Cheers BOB

I wouldn't rate the monitors as that good personally. We have started dishing them out at work. They look blurry at 60hertz so you have to set it to 75hertz to make it usuable. Dell's 17" models were far better. Think the reviews for them aren't that good either.

These are TN panels I'm afraid and there are better 19" monitors out there as well - not one of Dell's best.
There is one guy selling these on Ebay for £129 plus £10 delivery!
