Loads to choose from including fish, chips and peas £7.99 for 2, Hand battered giant Atlantic haddock, chips and peas £9.29 for 2, 14oz rib eye steak with onion rings, chips, peas and choice of sauce £15.99 for 2 and if you are trying to eat healthier - they also do grilled chicken and bacon salad for £7.99 for 2 or sweet potato and feta lasagne £8.69 for 2.

Obviously you can mix and match and you don't have to have 2 main courses the same but you will just pay for the higher priced main if they aren't both the same price.

I would not recommend the fish and chips included in and of these deals. The piece I got had fish the width of a fish finger.
They'd left enough skin on it to pad it out, but the portion was tiny and very poor value.
There was an upgrade for 99p or £1.50 which I wish I'd taken.
I once asked what fish it was as it didn't state cod etc...Asian Catfish apparently oO

more like asian cat from the local chinese..

Good deal, but why does my food never arrive look the same as those pictures when they arrive,
Don't forget if you are eating Mon-Fri between 12.00 noon and 5.00pm 2 desserts for just £2.50 also

Hot, love brewers fayre and don't forget that most of them have a free soft play area for the kids. You can sit back and enjoy your meal while the kids are distracted with the soft play.

Never had a burger look like that from brewers X)

Fair price but even the pictures of the food look a bit dire. Gentle warmth for the deal though.

My code was different that they emailed. Used it the other day. Recommend the lasagne.

Mix grills are tasty enough. We went to one when the 40% off mains was on.

40% off mains at Harvester at min though! Love going there. Always eat too much mind.

Yeah no offence but Brewers Fayre have the worst food a restaurant could offer. I'm still in the process of overcoming the psychological damage from the last visit which I had to go for because of staying away for work. it was microwaved food that is way more disgusting than ANYTHING you could make at home yourself. do not go.

I never go/eat at any establishment that states "fish". It invariably means Panga/Bassa ie farmed Vietnamese freshwater catfish which has the taste and texture of a cotton wool ball. Have you seen a Vietnamese sewerage farm? It's just a very sad and extremely cheap con!

We got 40% off our bill at harvester at the weekend, would have been quite pricey without it and we skipped dessert.

My sister is a GM of a brewers fayre and we know the Fish from Brewers Fayre (any whitbread brand) is either EU caught whiting (cheaper option) or Atlantic Haddock. They no longer sell panga/Bassa since they started using neutrition experts in 2014. Anyone saying different either doesn't know or are incorrect.

Also anyone who thinks their meals are not spec (not looking like the photos) can request a replacement or alternative if they are not happy. All food served should look almost identical to the pics on the menu and if it doesn't or you are not happy staff are always willing to put the issues right.
If you are unsure what your meal should look like then request a look at the spec book that all the whitbread restaurants have and the staff should be happy to show you.

Can you go solo and get yourself 2 mains? Salad for starter and a big meat dish for main isn't bad for £7.99

The only trouble is, if you sent the meal back every time it failed to look like the picture, you would go in for lunch at 1pm and leave about 9pm :)

If you look on TripAdvisor you would be hard pushed to find a Brewers Fayre with less 'terrible' reviews than 'excellent'

In which case they should state which species of fish is being served!
