I've got pretty much all of those already and they're superb games.

Great site, and £3.78 for Fallout & Fallout 2 is an absolute bargain!

Not much of a gamer but might start my Christmas shopping early with this.

Any recommendations for the average 8 year old?!?

Thanks very much!

I bought Sacrifice back when GOG first opened, it's a brilliant game.

Hostile Waters & Giants: Citizen Kabuto are also great games, and many of the others are worth a go.

Too bad the pricing doesn't work out as well for me due to oversees charges by my bank.

Earthworm Jim is a classic!

Your kids will love it. It is a bit crazy but in a nice friendly kinda way.

It's comic book style graphics are still great! (considering the bits)

For £1.99 you should bite their arm off!

Goodbye kids for at least 1 hour :whistling:

Bare in mind these are downloads, they won't make great Christmas presents!

I don't do a lot of posting on these boards but in this case I feel compelled to. Freespace 1 + 2 are excellent space combat games and are well worthy of a purchase. You'll need a joystick to get the best out of them but I thoroughly enjoyed playing them.

I already own alot of these games from the first time round, but most of them actually don't work anymore. I remember Descent being a fantastic game, my first experience of proper 3d graphics after Wolfenstein and Doom. And I remember MDK for some gorgeous environments, the almost mirror-like surfaces of some buildings were amazing. It was very frustrating to find the versions I have don't work on XP.

I am tempted to get them again to give them another go. I'm guessing this 'gog' is similar to Steam, IE the games sit in your 'account', and you can just download them as you need them?

Yeah, you can download them as many times as you like and they are completely DRM free, I bought Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time and Beyond Good and Evil a couple of weeks ago in an offer and I'm running Windows 7 and they worked fine, I couldn't recommend GOG enough.

Downloaded loads just, giving them an install on Win 7 now and ill see how they play.

Great deal, heat and rep on the way.

Thanks for the heat and rep, all. Glad you enjoy these as much as me!

For what it's worth, my personal picks would be Fallout 2, FreeSpace, MDK and Giants - 4 of the most memorable games I've ever played.

Have fun! :)

Freespace better than Freespace 2?

Also, isn't Freespace 2 free now with the free source code on the internet?

Thanx

I love GOG. Just wish they had the same number of titles available as the dreaded STEAM! :-(

Heat added
