I think the BOGOF deal is on everywhere at the moment isn't it? Thought I saw a TV ad for it. (Not dissing this deal, by the way!)

Thank you for this. Just ordered 2 Alice in Wonderlands for gifts. Used my 2.50 voucher so get them delivered for 6.48! Thank you for posting. Voted hot!

Thanks ordered 2 and used my 2.50 voucher......as above :)

Thanks Steve - excellent find, always wanted this set!

Always a good deal when these come round, most high st shops will be doing the same promo too.

Great deal! HOT!

I also got the two at £8.98, and also used my £2.50 HUKD voucher.

It's worth mentioning, for those that are unaware, that by some quirk (as a discount is applied for the BOGOF) that the P&P is also free for the order so both DVD's were just £6.48 delivered!

It's shocking that the RRP of some of these Disney DVDs is upwards of £20... I usually opt not to help build the evil empire of Disney, but at this price i'll join the dark side ;-)

Woolworths are doing this promotion instore.

Yeah I noticed them in Woolworths too

Seemed to be the best price I saw too (apart from Alice and Mary Poppins) as they were £15 each - so 2 for £15

Didn't see the offer in WHSmiths or HMV in Newbury

If you are buying 4 ITEMS OR MORE which vary in price then read on:

Common transactional issue:
Amazon and other retailers tills / systems are not able to work out the best deal for you. Should you purchase 4 items e.g.

The Incredibles (Collector's Edition) [2004] - Craig T. Nelson
£13.98

Robin Hood [1973] - Wolfgang Reitherman
£13.97

Toy Story - 10th Anniversary Edition [1995] - Tom Hanks
£16.98

Toy Story 2 (2 Disc Collector's Edition) [1999] - Tom Hanks
£16.98

...then tills are programmed to give you the TWO CHEAPEST items of the whole basket FREE (in this case if buying four) . This has always been the case and I agree with the concept of "cheapest item free" but customers have caught on that they can choose how their transaction is done by paying for items separately if they can get a better deal. So if you buy these separately i.e. the two cheapest together in one transaction and the two expensive together in another transaction your saving will be ONE of the items at each price for free. Although you need to spend £15+ for free P&P be aware of this if you are in fact buying additional items where you are in fact spending well over the £15 for free p&p as you could possible not be benefiting from this deal as much as you think!

e.g. Pirates Of The Caribbean - The Curse Of The Black Pearl - 1 disc [2003] (*Buy one get one free) is £5.48. So buying any other higher price DVD will mean this is your free one. Certainly not much of a saving, so think before you complete the transaction!

Any queries PM me or add to the board. :whistling: Let me know if you found this useful!

that is the power of branding! But you are right we dont have to pay these prices...but people do!:roll:

Mary Poppins is not £8.98 any more - it's showing as £13.97.
There was an ad on tv last night promoting the BOGOF offer but not everywhere is doing it. Tesco and Woolworths have all titles at £15 BOGOF, play.com are £15.99 BOGOF and Amazon range from £5.48 - £16.97 so it depends what you want as to where to get the best deal.
I want HSM 2 which Amazon are doing for £10.97 but the only other one of similar price is Alice in Wonderland at £8.98 that we don't need. I also need to replace our copy of cars but that's more expensive on Amazon so it's not worth me getting that with HSM 2!!!
Guess it will be Tesco or Woolworths unless anyone can tell me differently!

You're right there ... I also spotted the deal at Morrison's today ... never took much note as I have one of the titles already. ;-)

No it isn't - I would have had it if it was! All the included titles are on Tesco.com and the titles appear to be the same everywhere.

By the way - all of the titles on Amazon have gone up to £14.98 or more now except for Alice in Wonderland which is still £8.98 and High School Musical 2 which is still £10.98.
Pirates of the carribean is now £14.98 so yesterdays message about the BOGOF savings isn't as relevant as it was at the time!!!!!!!!!
