If you must eat at McDonalds don't buy the Sun for vouchers.
They had the BOGOF vouchers in the Metro, also BOGOF vouchers for those Angus Burgers in at Burger King.

Voted Hot BTW, I don't personally eat Macdonalds, Since i've been eating healthy, But know plenty of people who still eat there.

The Sun is not the dirty paper! I'll buy the sun, but I won't buy the mirror. They once said that Neighbours was being cancelled, but it never happened- never mind that they have nothing to do with TV scheduling, production, etc, and were only reporting an industry rumour- and that it was years ago- I still won't buy it, ever. If I could eat two Big Macs, i'd buy the Sun today though.

To Scousers and Liverpool fans it will always be a dirty paper for all the ******** it printed over the Hillsborough disaster.

Cut and pasted this from what I said when this came up last week on the 'free BBQ food at Iceland from the Sun' thread as many seemed to appreciate my balanced review of 'the situation'...
The Sun now has little or nothing to do with the paper back then, apart from the name and general ownership (and Kelvin MacKenzie being a columnist now- damn). It is well documented that the story was started by the comments of an MP and confirmed by Chief Super Duckenfield, and it is generally accepted that the rumours were fed to the papers by the South Yorks police (esp Duckenfield) as an attempt to divert blame from themselves, claims that The Sun were able to confirm and subsequently printed. It is often forgotten that virtually all of the day's papers reported the same claims; it is always remembered that The Sun printed them on the front page.

The Taylor Report found that the tragedy was caused by the incompetence of the Police and the club stewards. In entirely failing to direct fans away from overcrowded terraces, overcrowding, and deaths followed. The Sun had nothing to do with this, yet people continue to criticise the paper, even though the real criticism should be that NOBODY was ever sucessfully prosecuted for the failings that led to the deaths. Norman Bettison was even promoted to Chief Constable of Merseyside, for god's sake! That's like letting Hitler off and making him leader of Israel.

The Sun apologised most recently in 2004 (and had apologised many times prior) when the Rooney serialisation resulted in criticism of him for choosing The Sun as the paper to print his life story, in response to death threats made against him and his family.

All newspapers lie and/or misreport, no one paper is any better than the others. Some, however, offer free cheap meat in a barbeque sauce.

Change the cheap meat to cheap burger, and we're sorted. The only further development is that a certain paper is offering the reward to find Rhys' killers....

Hmmm what started off as a gentle BOGOF reminder for a Big Mac from said newspaper is gradually turning into an all out tabloid offensive/defensive! Good effort lol :)

A few errors there. The Sun claimed they "apologised" but later retracted the apology, saying they didn't mean it anyway. They had never attempted to apologise before then. The only reason they "apologised" was because Wayne Rooney was getting stick and they didn't want him to prevent them serialising his book in their paper. Also, I am aware newspapers lie, but not many claim that people robbed from their own fans, stopped police helping fans, pissed on their own etc with no proof whatsoever, in a big front page spread the day after the incident. The reward for Rhys' killer is yet again an attempt at increasing sales in the north west, which are far lower than anywhere else in the country.

Can't you just print the voucher from the McDonalds site without buying anything. The link in the original post takes you to the voucher on the site.
