I wanted to buy some HexBug Nano but they seem a bit pricey at £9 each so I decided to have a look around and then I found these cheap alternative at PoundWorld called Buzzy Bugs. There are different colours and designs. Batteries are included. They look and work just like a HexBug Nano.

My son has the red one. They only go round in circles but kept my son amused.

Also have them in Poundland, picked up a couple for the kids, quite cool.

do a search for hexbug on here. i posted a site called focalprice which has the genuine hex bug for £1.70 delivered, i have bought 6 of them and you can get further discount when buying over 5.
see http://www.focalprice.com/detail_YE428X.html?SSAID=423396
i know it is more expensive than these posted but my sister bought one of these for her kid and it did not move quite as good as the hex bug.
not knocking these as they are still not bad at a quid, just my closest poundworld is 40 miles away so online is better for me.

The Focalprice ones are very good (well worth the price) but they certainly aren't genuine.

what makes you say that, they are very very very good copies if you are right and can prove it, as the packaging is identical and when side by side they bugs cannot be told apart.
are you sure you are not looking at the twin packs that is on there that has the ears as they are not genuine but the link should bring you to the hexbug.
UNLESS i was sold a copy by amazon.
i personaly think you are wrong in what you are saying but hey, prove me wrong.
