write speed 15 mb/s read 30 mb/s
good reviews
Got it, found its formatted to be 15GB which is about right.
Transfer speeds of 15MB/s Write and 30MB/s Read.

for the price i think this item is the bees knees, I have other memory sticks that look identical to this and the transfer rate is terrible.
This on the other hand has a very good transfer rate on pc and mac so all in all a very good buy.

Bought one last week, came in the 'frustration free' (which seems pointless, cardboard envelope liner which was massively oversized) inside a normal jiffy bag.

But was 13.45 then, isn't this just the going rate?

NAUGHTY but nice!

Had the same 1 for 3 years almost. Never let me down. Top quality. Also the lid actually clips onto the back of the stick when the stick is in a usb port. Good to know incase you lose it.

Heat added. Have had 2 several years with no problems. They work in both my Samsung HD TV's for watch DivX and avi movies & HD videos. The older TV has the odd blip and I think it is the speed of the USB stick being quicker than the USB port on the TV can handle.

30MB/sec read is quite good for a USB key of this price! :o Normally you can't get above 20MB/sec unless you buy the premium Corsair/OCZ/Patroit USB keys.

What app did you bench it in by the way?

edit: Does this have a flashing light when in use that could be otherwise annoying?

Just want to recommend this to anyone considering a USB stick as a memory card for an Xbox360. You can install games, demos, etc. and according to Digital Foundry, it matches and sometimes even beats a SSD for game load times when loading via USB.
I have a few gigs of rock band songs, and I can take them all round to my mates along with a few downloaded arcade games and my gamertag for a gaming sesh easily.

Ditto, I bought a red and blue one to keep my wife and my own x360 profiles on so they can be moved between machines, works a treat.

nice...i bought these last month ....kinda good tbh.

£13.45..for a 16GB USB. who wouldnt get 2? xD

Just got mine. It says it has 14.2gb free out of 14.2gb on it. I formatted in fat32, but still same. Anyone have any idea about why this is the case?

I think its due to the difference between:

gibibyte (binary) GiB 1024 mebibytes
gigabyte (decimal) GB 1000 megabytes

16GB = 14.2GiB

Sorry, 16GB = 14.9GiB - I suspect the rest .7 is fat filesystem overhead.

Thanks for the reply.

As long their is a credible explanation, just didn't want to feel conned.
