Bought one of these last year. It rang every time the folk across the street opened their electric garage door, when a police car went by, and when a plane flew over - we live in Reading so are under the Heathrow flight path at certain times. It also interfered with our wireless burglar alarm. Didn't get much sleep and the batteries didn't last long. But it worked fine as a doorbell and at this price it is worth a punt if you can avoid the problems I had.

I agree. But you might want to know which door to answer, so using both full sets with different chimes could be helpful. Also, if you stick with a single chime, they are small so not the loudest and you might find having them in different parts of the house is worthwhile. So some folks might find it useful to have one button and two chimes.

They replaced my first one and I had the same problems so I think it is related to wireless interference and just depends on your environment.

I have a cheap £8 similar to this and it gets inference from a neighbour's doorbell, so I changed the frequency on mine, touch wood now its fine. Look for the jumper connectors in your bell then change it, hopefully that will eliminate the problem.

Scanned at £8.50 in my local ASDA.

If this is the barcode from the £2.15 version that has been posted, then it may be old stock because the ones on the shelf in my store had a different barcode number to the one posted above.
