Customer "Weren't these a 6 pack last year?"

Retailer " Yes they were"

Customer " but whos idea was this?"

Retailer " It's so we and cadbury can make more money out of you customers by saying this is a betterr deal for you...which it isn't"

I'm sure they've got smaller or has my mouth got bigger? ;)

Same as last year then. Even the motorway services were trying to shift them at that price. Shame they changed the recipe a few years ago, all these taste of now is raw sugar. Hardly any cocoa in the so called choc outer. Miss the original and would buy the old version at that price but not these current ones

It's JANUARY for f**k sake!

12 eggs are £4 at tesco if you want the convenience of having them in a box rather than loose. I cannot understand the logic of having a 5 pack and a 12 pack though.
#13
Link takes you to an egg marked xs.....extra small?
#14
I think I must be the only one who DOESNT like Cadbury creme eggs :)
#15
@matthew774 I thought that too but it says weight is 40g

Glad to hear someone else say that as no one agreed with me when I said they just tasted of sugar. Used to buy these by the box of 48 years ago but wouldn't now.

In my local coop they were last week already just like chocolate Santa and reindeers in September.

Here's my take:

The NEW 5 pack is £2.

Customer "Weren't these a 6 pack last year?"

Retailer " Yes they were"

Customer " but whos idea was this?"

Retailer " There's less carbon footprint and it's better for the environment if we sell these in 5 packs, and we still need 2 quid for them because of the new Eco friendly packaging"

Nice, but like most people, I'm thinking 'Oi, Cadbury, since when did EGGS come in XXXXin' FIVES? You cheap, corner cutting, candy robbin bastids.'
#30
I'm not promoting the 5 pack but maybe it saves packaging space like the 5 packs of hienz beans?
#31
I prefer mini eggs

I saw it at Tesco today
And got few a few packs! It was so difficult to buy these when I was in Hong Kong and triple price than here
#33
For the five eggs for £2 packs they are still using the six egg pack to add insult to injury. eggs now roll about in packaging and get broken more easily.
#34
5 pack - an affront to the creme egg connoisseur!!
#35
In fact it should be renamed crime egg!

Manufactured for the American market primarily now, in Poland I believe. Nothing is unsellable in the UK designed by Thatcher.

Does anyone actually buy Cadburys anymore????????
I don't.
They are churning out some disgusting types of "chocolate" these days and none of the old varieties tastes like it used to.
Could be that is why there are so many "special offers" cos its either imported from foreign countries or made by other licensed companies that no one has ever heard about in the UK.
Its NOT Cadbury anymore since they done the dirty on UK workers is it?

Stopped buying it cos Morrisons cheap chocolate is much tastier and cheaper.
