Went to superdrug today to see the philips toothbrush posted days before, definitely no luck :-( ;Then I decide to buy something to eat since a bit hungry. I took the Cadbury dairy milk chocolate randomly, the price labeled 99p, quite reasonable for daily milk chocolate, when I brought item to checkout, the price went down to 49p!!!,Really I can not believe my eyes, just pick up 3pack more immediately, totally for 1.98!!

The most recently offer is 1.25 or 1.5 in tesco (half price) for 250g, this is 280g twin pack for 49p! Normally price for 3pounds or more (you must know tesco, asda, sainsbury, somefield) sell their own branded value choc for 20p-40p for no more than 170g! Noticed the spring exam would come in next week, I just say hot to anyone else. Regret to take all of them

Hold a piece in your fingers and see how quick it melts.

Hardly any cocoa mass in it. Contains vegetable fat in addition to cocoa butter. One word. Rubbish!

Pound land have Green & Blacks organic chocolate £1.00 a bar

Up until recently , Cadbury's were not allowed to call their chocolate bars .... chocolate , in Italy, Spain and Portugul and some other nations, because it had too little chocolate in it. It is mainly sugar, lots of veg oil and colouring.

Most people don't care what's in it because it tastes far nicer than all of the other stuff.

I beg to differ, most people do not know the **** taste, I guess its what people are used to and know no better.

The chocolate on the continent is far superior, especially in Belgium (dont get confused with the current BS of saying stuff added with Belgium chocolate like tesco add to all their lines).

I agree, whenever I need a bar of chocolate I avoid the newsagents and hop on a plane to Belgium - the better taste is well worth the journey

For the price and the taste (believe it or not, not everyone has the same taste buds as you do) cadburys cannot be beaten by most.

Belgium Chocolate. Now your talking!

Put some Dark chocolate in your Chili con Carne. In a curry to. it works great.

That's the most stupid comment I heard all day. Cadbury's chocolate is the best I've tasted in the world. And I've tasted a lot of that "luxury" **** from Guylian, Thorntons, Belgian chocolate etc... Creme eggs still beat them all by a monstrous margin. Oh, and I don't care if it's vegetable fat or not... I eat chocolate because it tastes nice not because it (or doesn't) contains "cocoa extracts".
#17
Does anyone else think it's ironic they went in to buy a toothbrush and came out with chocolate? :)

Hahahahaa hahahahaha thats the best i've read all day Guylian ... Thorntons ..... Luxury Chocolate ? I think not. You need to spread your wings more.

I tried Thorntons the other day and compared to Leondas and Jeff De Brugge it was ****. Too bad I cannot buy these brands easily but will buy certain Tesco finest import brands and some other stuff if I can find it, or even some M&S brands that will make do, but you cant beat the I can find in Belgium and France. Cadbury rubbish leaves a burning sensation in my mouth due to so much excessive cheap sugar usage.

What is even annoying is the **** Tesco try and pull with everything made with "belgian chocolate".

I was passing by a Superdrug today so went in to see if they had any more of those toothbrushes left. As I expected they didn't. As I was leaving I remembered about this Dairy Milk post so I went to check, it was listed as 95p (as the OP had stated). Considering it is £1.53 in Asda, that is still a good price so I went to the counter to try my luck at getting it for £0.45 but didn't mind paying £0.95. The casheer however scanned it and she asked me for £2.45! I was shocked and told her it was listed as £0.95. She said "Yeah, I think your right, our system must be messed" and she refunded the difference. I think their system must be going haywire!

Long live the nanny state!

Milk in chocolates warning
Britain's most famous milk chocolate maker has decided to warn milk chocolate lovers that Britain's most famous milk chocolate contains - milk.
The latest Cadbury Dairy Milk wrappers feature a logo showing a glass and a half of milk being poured into a chocolate chunk, put milk first in a list of ingredients and explains that there is "The equivalent of three quarters of a pint of milk of fresh liquid milk in every half pound of milk chocolate".
But Cadbury says it is also necessary to print warnings in capital letters in yellow boxes saying "CONTAINS: MILK" in case people who are allergic to milk do not realise that there is milk in Cadbury Dairy Milk bars.

I cannot believe you are trying to sound cool and worldy over 'chocolate'. that is quite possibly the saddest thing I've read all day.
