====

Seen at Waitrose Alderley Edge Store.

- andreocean

In response to "should be national":

NOT in Edinburgh Morningside this morning :(

Full price in Canary Wharf :(

Nothing in York

Something about a car park

etc

- dewonderful

Returned to same store today but they have all sold out. I asked a shop assistant and they said if there were any left in other Waitrose that they should be £1.25 a tub as they are clearing all Christmas items

Had a tub given as a gift recently. Disappointed to see that the cost cutting exercises has now made the wrappers near identical apart from different colours also the piece of paper that tells you what each chocolate is, is now so small that it makes it difficult to read for some people. Have a look and you will see what I mean.

Mondelez is destroying Cadbury, just like they said they wouldn't. Shutting factory, moving headquarters, removing dairy Milk from Creme egg, b******ising Dairy Milk by putting non-Cadbury concoctions together like Chocolate Phili, Daim and Ritz together with Dairy Milk, removing Bourneville from tins, stopped sending chocolate to retired employees, making Diary Milk in Poland among I'm sure many other things.

I like roses. But they are not the same with no coffee creams. In fact which assortment still has coffee creams? They are the best sweet!

I'm fairly sure they'd appreciate rice/pasta foodstuff a bit more than of a load of sweets. Can just picture the scene "mummy I'm hunnngrrryy what's for tea? Have you been down to the food bank?" "Yes and...well....it's Roses. On toast".

We put a variety of things in the parcel, these go overseas, the necessities like rice, pasta, flour, hygiene products, tinned food and the chocolates are just s luxury if we can find them at a good price.

The coffee in my experience has been luke so if you dont drink it in 10 mins it wil be cold. I know you cant complain but if somebody ends up paying they might not be too pleased.

Nothing in cheap price chocolate for me, probably for the best.

Yes, the only thing more disappointing is the chocolate! We had a box of this over Christmas and they are nothing like the old stuff, very plasticy in taste and texture.

It didn't ruin Christmas, but I clearly think it is a step too far with what they have done. I certainly won't be buying any in future. At least nestle seem to be keeping Quality Street in the same familiar wrappers albeit there are less chocolates in a tin each year. l suppose it is the sign of the times.

Agreed. Should start a Twitter campaign next year to boycott them until they stop shrinking them http://www.customernet.com/cadburys-roses-chocolate-boxes-get-even-smaller/
