Seriously lol snowflake75Dec

On a serious note to see if they could still be edible for next Xmas, thanks op for letting me know xx

The reason these are in home bargains, along with everything else, in the first place is because the expiry date is so near
#6
So near?!?! Pretty much 5 months.... If you can't eat 6 Choc bars in that time something is wrong!

Heat! None near me but 59p is a steal

The same ones are 75p in Tesco currently. Stocked up today. They are small versions of the bars but still good value. Same expiry date too.

My mum buys Christmas pudding half price which we have the following year. I think that's a bit mad!

They do last for ages though

I found these in the Blackpool store & they had loads. It might vary within the stores xx

These are great for Rocky Roads, break them all up, add them to a large bowl with broken digestives, small marshmallows and melted chocolate, lay flat on a baking tray and pour melted chocolate over the top then into the fridge for a few hours, gorgeous!

Bought one today, they are the standard size bars

The expiry date is a Best Before date...nothing more.....the chocolate will be edible for many months after that date & if kept in a cool dry place longer than that......the worst that will happen is the chocolate will develop a white "bloom" which is simple the cocoa butter separating....it will have no impact on the edibility

Deal already posted and that for the stocking ones for 99P

None in the Newtownabbey store - all the Christmas stock has been removed from the shelves!

I do this every year to use up the selection boxes, it makes loads of them, only problem is is that you can't stop eating them, we had 20 selection boxes that would have taken at least two months to eat, the rocky roads were gone in two days! ;)
