Does this include the decent zombie levels then?

(I.E. The updated WAW ones) :)

Does anybody know when they will be DLC? Ta :)

Cold. Why pay so much extra for so little.

No game should cost this much so long after release, especially when its a terrible game.

Read the rules. Vote for the deal, not the game package.

Im not sure about the zombie levels. Think it does come with the limited editions.

And the DLC is on its way. Give it time. :)

This x1000.

HUKD has so many moronic cold-voters. Heat added.

Striker makes a totally valid point. he doesnt think this is a good deal, due to price against the age and his opinion of the game. The rules:

"Members vote "hot" for those offers that seem pretty special"

Striker makes a totally valid point. he doesnt think this is a good deal, due to price against the age and his opinion of the game.

Then he's rating the game/product, not the deal. Many people are looking for the cheapest price for the Hardened Edition; for example, collectors. This is (was) the cheapest price available for the Hardened Edition -- henceforth, 'hot'.

Just because you may only want the regular edition (and/or you hated the game) and think the Special/Collectors' editions are rip-offs does not mean you should cold-vote them. Some of us are looking for the cheapest prices available for the Special/Limited/Collectors' editions, and people only looking to buy the regular and/or pre-owned versions are clouding our ability to find the cheapest deals on the Special Editions.

show me where it says a "deal" is based on price only. If that is what this site states then fair enough but then its just another price comparison site.

Just to add I think this site is great when people point out a product is not worth the price and give people a heads up, or state that despite the poorness of the product at a certain price it may be worth a punt.

That's fair enough, but some of us are looking for very specific items that the majority of people may not deem an exceptional value proposition.

For example, would you consider a Lamborghini discounted by 10% to £1.12million pounds a great deal? No, most people wouldn't. But some people ARE looking for the cheapest prices on Lamborghinis. Granted, the majority of us aren't, but don't deny the people who are.

Henceforth, an HUKDer looking for the cheapest price on the Hardened Edition of Black Ops has trouble discerning good prices on the more expensive edition because others don't deem it of good value and insist others purchase the regular (and/or pre-owned) edition.

If you are looking for a very specific product, what difference does a cold vote make to you? How are you being "denied"?

You can still search for that item and see the cheapest price and buy it - regardless of its heat.

This site is called HotUKDeals - therefore it would be quite a reasonable assumption for people to vote on the deal as a whole. If someone offered you a dog **** for £1, and everyone else was charging £1.50 it would not make the £1 dog **** a good deal would it.

People are getting too hung up on the heat ... if something offers good value for money then it will generally get some heat. If it's tat then it normally gets a lot of cold votes - it's not the end of the world.

I personnaly agree that this isn't a good deal - you are far better buying the standard edition if you are planning to buy a copy - hence i've voted cold !

Again, this argument is predicated on the assumption that regular editions and special editions are comparable -- an assumption you probably won't relinquish any time soon.

I dont think anyone was insisting that other members buy a certain product. They were just giving their opinion.
I do think people should as the site states vote however they like. the odds are that everything will balance out in the end anyhows. As before to me a deal = cheapest price, a hot deal = cheapest price on a product worth having.

and for me I vote on a product ' i ' think is worth having and only if its something i would consider purchasing. Its impossible for me to vote on oven cleaner / womens garments etc... just because its the cheapest price, for all i know it could be useless.

Correct - they both contain the same game, and it is my "personal opinion" that the added extras in teh Hardened edition do not justify the price diferential ... hence cold !

As has been said, if all you are looking for is the cheapest price at any given time, use a price comparison website that does it all automatically showing you the cheapest price that has stock. Some of them even email you when the price drops. That is not what this site is all about.

If that was what this site was about there would be absouloutly no need for voting at all.

I still feel that the idea of marking it down because of the package is extremely harsh. There have been many products not worth their price. One example, the large number of deals for Medal of Honor last year. The special edition came with the BF3 beta key, but nothing else significant yet that had no problem gaining heat. Atleast this edition of Black Ops has something to it, especially for the collectors out there. I feel that just because you don't want a collectors version, you don't have vote it down because you don't think it's worth it. Otherwise no decent collectors edition of anything will gain heat.
