That thread seems to be for the PlayStation 3 variant of the game.
This "Deal" (looking at the [go to deal] product page & the image of the product in the description) is for the Xbox 360 format.

Doesn't take a genius to work out that it is the same price on both consoles seeing as all these tesco deals keep getting posted atm.

As it's not mentioned by the OP in that thread then this is fine to stay. It's not uncommon for different formats to have different pricing and discounts at different times.
