aint this just a extension to this - surely its the code thats of interest as opposed to individual titles?

i am a major fan of the call of duty franchise, but the games are starting to level out.

previously, the games were a huge improvement on the previous title. with each new installment, the improvements get less and less.

there must come a point when the masses will realise and refuse to pay the silly rrp.

(i say this, but i guarantee i will be one of the numpties queueing up at ASDA at midnight on release day - lol)

I don't know a single person who has ever paid the RRP.

Just look outside game on the inevitable Midnight opening for release of this.

Anyway, Furiousjasmin just pointed out one of the problems with the franchise, that being it's made for consoles first, and it shows.

I'm not wanting to start a BF3 versus MW3 debate, but that game just looks incredible on the PC, really crossing my fingers for that one. I will still get MW3 though ;S

My friend paid £55 for modern warfare 2 a day before it came out and he had to borrow £10 off another mate just to buy it.

The worst thing was that he doesn't play it.

And what retailer did he buy it from as I paid about £40 from shopto and got it the day before :|

Best £40 I spent though18months on and I still play it, if that's not money's worth then I dunno what it is,

I'd guess £34 is much cheaper than people are going to fork out for this via pre-order or day of release. I'm banking on a supermarket selling it cheap.

You're right M3nderez, it's a constant fight to find deals through the hordes of s*** posted by the same 4 or 5 users who trawl Amazon all day to find old items £2 cheaper than elsewhere. That's not a deal, it's a reasonably priced item compared to the daft price others are selling at!! Sorry, rant over :)

You probably should've put £35.19 as the price OP, then it wouldn't have got so cold. That's a pretty good deal, but £43.99 is extortionate.
