You can post this aswell, as alot of the wii games have been posted under currys, dixons,pc world. in other threads, when I said about it they said it's ok as it like the same with the hut/zavvi/sendit ex ex .

OP add Currys and PC World to your title. Cheers mate

Another day, another deluge of Black Ops deals. Will they ever end?

Looks like some ******* is expiring and marking as spam all these deals as soon as they are posted so they don't reach the hot deals page where most people look and they can then profit from the deal themselves and sell on fleabay.

Just posted the £25 black ops deal when bought with 2100 points for £17.49 in Tescos and had the same thing done to me.

I think you both need to get out more.

Why would you expire stuff that requires you having to spend £50 every time you wanted to ebay it? Seems a bit silly to me.

Personally, I am sure I have seen this deal posted before which is why it was probably expired

Whoops just found it - 2 days ago. =>.>= Would have bagged some extra cc points if i'd done that first time. Just thought it was weird that it was immediately marked as spam and expired. Will know next time.

Was just about to post this too, seems a great deal if you are already buying something from dixons. Get that xmas pressie in early and treat yourself to the game for being so generous :p

mmmmmmmmm...... what about buying something for £50 getting black ops for £19.99 then going back in after you have done the deal with the £50 item to get your money back?
if you have not opened it surely you can get a refund?

Seems unlikely to work but anyone tried?

good if you are planning on spending £50 in Curry's or Dixons
#13
Was looking to buy a keyboard for £55 so I guess I might as well get this and sell it on!

Agreed. Thereby being cold. Just give us a cheap price instead of its cheap but if you buy some other ridiculously priced item I don't really need.

thanks

Everything in Dixons is overpriced meaning this expensive... cold from me.

It seems if you add two copies of the game, plus something else for £10, you can get the lot for £70...
#18
How much is the Black Ops game in Dixons? £30?

So buy 2 Black Ops games and get the 3rd for £20 shared by 3 is £26 each!!

Not bad if you can find 2 friends that also want it?

Sorry, should have explained a bit better. It seems as though COD can be used towards the £50 is what I was trying to say. 3 copies would cost you £99.97, so not a great deal. However, if you want two copies, just find something you want for £10.01 or more. Then the cost is £59.98 + whatever you added. (so £29.99 per copy of COD which isn't awful.)

They would likely just refund you less the rest of the cost of the game.

£39.99 in store. This was yesterday however but I imagine it will still be the same price.
#23
ordered a TV yesterday from Dixon, over £500, called them to see if they can add this in or sell to me at reduced rate as TV not due for delivery til Fri, they told me only option is to cancel and re-order. will take 3-5 days for refund etc so not worth hassle.

called again, hoping to get a more sympathetic answer from somebody else, spent 30 minutes on the phone this time with various people who were extremely helpful and obviously trying to work with a broken system, they agreed if i buy the game full price they will then put a refund through so as it stands i have paid full price for the game, I am awaiting a call back for a £20 refund to be applied!

is this online or just in stores?

because i would have used the usual workaround on these things. preorder a game at 50 quid, get the cheap COD which would be in stock, get charged for it and then cancel the other item before it has been posted. still works with other companies.
