Call of Duty: Black Ops - All Supermarket Deals (£4.97 - £44.99)

Thought I'd make a thread with all the prices for every supermarket in, just to save time/space.

Asda

£4.97 When you trade in Fallout New Vegas or Fable 3 or Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2. £36.97 on it’s own.

Sainsburys

£27.97 when you spend £30 or more in-store. £37.97 on it’s own.

Tesco

£25 when you also purchase 2100 Xbox Live Points Card, 3 Months Xbox Live Gold Membership, £20 PS3 PSN Card. £39.90 on it’s own.

Morrisons

£29.99 when you buy any other chart game, £39.99 on it’s own

Game

£24.99 when bought with any other Xbox 360 or PS3 Chart title. Also £24.99 when traded in with selected games

Gamestation

£24.99 when bought with any other Xbox 360 or PS3 Chart title.

HMV

£42.99 or £7.99 when you trade in Medal of Honour

Blockbuster
£44.99 or £0.99 when you trade in two of these games : Medal of Honour, Fable 3, Fallout New Vegas, MMA, F1 2010, Star Wars The Force Unleashed

Details

All prices where confirmed in the national newspapers on 8th November 2010. Prices may be subject to stock levels and terms and conditions. Check in-store for exact details. The relevant adverts can be seen in The Sun, The Mirror and The Daily Star

-----------------------------

For the Sainbury's deal you can NOT get the deal if you buy two copies of the game. It has to be £30 of groceries together with the game in one transaction. This means you can not do the deal by buying petrol either.

- Cuddy

£29.99 @BestBuy for first 500 copies sold!!!
- *Sloman*

edit - ASDA - if pre-ordered price was £36

Thanks OP for going to the trouble of listing out the individual deals.
I have gone for the Tesco offer with Live points.
Incidentally, I saw Frank Bruno in GameStation yesterday pre-ordering the game. For those curious as to whether he is a Sony or Microsoft owner, I can confirm he is an X-Boxer.

You voted COLD for THAT?! Crikey, don't believe some people on here. OP went to a lot of trouble doing this. I for one am very glad of this post. No wonder some people don't bother putting posts on!

My mate who works at Tesco has put my copy to one side.

    Game + 2100 points = £42.50 - 10% Staff Discount and £14 trade in for MW2 = £24.25

Then sell the Points for £15 = TOTAL of £9.25

Nice one - "liked" your post.

Heat added to the thread. As others have said, the prices are disappointing, but all credit to the OP for compiling this.
Anyone heard a price for Grainger Games?

To be fair, I'd pay much more for the game so I've no complaints at any of the prices. I'm not saying I'd be happy paying that much, but if I'm honest I'd pay it. I've played MW2 for over 400 hours - so even if it were £100 I'd say it's outstanding value at 25p per hour...

Just ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 from GAME for £58.98 using the £6 code, with a potential 4% quidco cash back to come.

Just 'sold' the Star Wars game to CEX (online) for £30.

After all that I've got Black Ops for just under £30 and got some more points on my GAME card

Thanks for posting this and keeping it all in one place, you've saved me some time this morning.

The "Deals" on offer are extremely poor compared to last year, and there was me thinking that Supermarkets weren't allowed to price fix items?

How on earth would they explain that all of their "Deals" now include different stipulations when last year they were all selling the Game on its own and competing over a few pence. The same also happened with the release of FIFA 11 a few weeks ago.

    Thanks a lot OP.

For the person asking about Makro's. Checked with Makros in Aberdeen - They havent even got stock this year

i think the supermarkets have shot themselves in the foot this time, in past many major totles have sold for £25 with no strings, queues of ppl going to get their titles plus buying other stuff, normally booze and munchies, lol but its all profit for them and loads of ppl through the doors, this time unless ur doing the weekly shop with them or have certain titles to part ex your a mug imo.
the price will be sub £30 within a days with no strings and the 2nd hand market with be flooded driving prices down further.

a fool and his money are soon parted, lmao

Hiow did you do this online? Can't see the option on the site...

All i did was log into my clubcard account Tesco Clubcard Site
Then click "My Clubcard Account", then on the left it should say "My Vouchers"
When you click on this it shows all the valid vouchers on your account along with the online code for each voucher.

So when you go to the tesco direct site and add black ops and go through all the address etc. There is an option to redeem e-vouchers/vouchers or something like that.
In there you can add as many as you want and it will bring the price down.
Be careful to make sure you only add say £40 of vouchers though as you will always have to a minimum of 40p
It is not possible to get it for £0.00

    Hope this helps

You can't blame them for offering deals which work in their own interest and if those deals also look good to the customers than nobody loses out.
