This is a tempter, but I've heard mixed reviews off my friends. Apparently the single player is not up to scratch?!
#2
I thought the single player campaign was pretty good.

Yeah I like it, I haven't finished it yet though because I've been mainly playing the multiplayer.

Good SP campaign though, better than MW2's.

Just tried it and it seems fine to me.

...Should drop in price soon...

Doubt that very much.

MW2 got very mixed reviews, in fact most of the gaming press hated it, but it was still the biggest seller of last year and has only recently taken a tumble in price.

When you add the 360 version to your basket it comes up with a message saying they have removed it from the checkout bacause it is out of stock

Difference is this game is dropping in value already, and MW2 held its £45 value for months and months. this will be sub £30 by January

Most online stores are sub 40 quid for this game, and there are promo codes all over the place to get it cheaper.

Also the deals to get it for 27 quid or less are still in place, i.e. sainsbury, tesco and asda are doing the game, tshirt and strategy guide for £36.

The Tesco bundle deal ended days ago and that's the same as what happened with MW2 for around the first month or so last year.

It won't, you can usually tell by the publisher or the sales figures on which games will drop in price quickly. i.e. Ubisoft games drop in price within a month usually, and games that had massive printing runs that didnt reach sales targets can get reduced in price to sihift stock, i.e. Bioshock 2.

Black Ops has already sold more in the first week than MW2 did, plus CoD games always hold their price extremely well.

Anyone hoping for a price drop comparable to that which was available on release is probably going to be waiting a while :/

Edit:
And bloody hell jonny, do you always have to clutter up threads with your rubbish trolling, or taking 4-5 different posts to say nothing of value? jesus christ.

Then they still keep the price high so next year's version doesnt suffer from people waiting for the price to drop

Seriously this happens every year with CoD...
