Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/
Or follow the link in my signature.
Kind regards
Andy

little bit pointless as it seems just about every online retailer are doing it for that price without discount codes.

According to find-games.co.uk (who, admittedly, aren't as accurate with games as their sister site find-dvd.co.uk, who are almost always spot-on) everyone else is £42.99 to £44.99

Or just clicking on the links (as this time they're all accurate - Everyone else IS £42.98 or greater).

All either unknown retailers, amazon sellers, etc.
The only sub-£40 one I'd trust is Toys R Us and they charge for delivery.

My real point (rather than banging on about my search engine is better than yours) is £37.98 delivered (and from a known retailer - rather than "Jack Of All Games"; whoever he is) really is a good price and around £5 cheaper than the rest - so I've no idea why it's gone so cold (apart from the habit some people have of voting a good deal cold, just because it was posted a few weeks ago).

Indeed; although I've never been able to work out why a deal is suddenly cold just because everyone already knows about it.
It's still a hot deal; surely? It doesn't suddenly become a poor deal just for this (or am I missing the point of HUKD - where you vote good deals hot and bad deals cold).

Maybe an "already posted" button (in addition to the "expire" and "spam" buttons) would be a good idea. At least it would save people from having to vote a hot deal cold, simply because it was posted a few weeks ago and the HUKD search engine only gives decent results in advanced mode.

me is thinking as well for all you pre ordered online " postal strike " thats if it lasts that long but it will most likely mess all pre orders up for day release.... just a thought.

You're not wrong there.
Maybe Amazon Prime (which now uses CityLink) will come into its own (if the CityLink drivers can suddenly start delivering packages to the address which is actually on the label - but why change the habit of a lifetime ;-)).

Who knows; a pre-Christmas postal strike could just be what bricks 'n' mortar stores need.

right so as postal strike may kill online pre orders for this game are people going to give my post a few weeks back some heat? also someone said they might be doing a 3 day deal so will prob be even cheaper!!!

What; you want even more than 66° ? Greedy :-D.
Still; £39.99 (or £38.99) for an instore pre-order price (especially when most e-tailers are charging £40+) is a good deal anyway, so I've complied with your wishes (can't believe I missed that one first time round).

Thanks for the pointless link wozzer! about 11 or 12 pages in i managed to find it from the same site as i posted and guess what its the same price lol well done fella....

you did not need to search 11 - 12 pages in i gave the direct link to the page where it starts at £37.98 and yes of course the retailer you have given is there that is what i was pointing out that other online retailers are doing it at the same price and also this post has been posted 3 weeks ago.

Part of the problem of this site I'm afraid.
The only way to make absolutely sure is to do an advanced search (just typing in the product and clicking search often comes up with rubbish six month old posts) and limiting the responses to "deals" and "posts from a month ago and newer" (otherwise you have to trawl through pages of gibberish search engine respones - rather like Google's shopping search engine)!

I think he meant if he'd have done a Google shopping search from scratch (and had to filter out the first dozen pages of irrelevant junk and Amazon Marketplace & ebay sellers), which is the main reason why I rarely use Google for this application.

Not me. I'm in the "I think reposts should be allowed for current deals after a few weeks" club.
Many, however, will just vote it cold (presumably under the false impression visitors to HUKD are willing to plough through dozens of pages, looking for old deals in the hope they're still valid).
#28
thats what im saying if the deal is still on but was posted over a month ago you can repost it, hence this post

I agree

info- theres a lot of rumblings comming from games forums that they have not included any dedicated server hosting for this game , which effects the on-line gameplayers really.

Thanks guys atleast some people have an IQ higher than a toad, thats exactly my point if its a good deal why vote it cold? im an avid game player and i view hotukdeals all the time so does my partner and we have both missed this from when it was posted before! I ordered my copy for £35.99 from argos in july wich went very hot indeed which may i add is just £2 cheaper than what i got it for and its this price all the time on the link i posted. What it all boils down to certain people have an ulterior motive with there coments+ links to there post they already had on this site:shock:. Its my first post and my last i will only use this site for deals for myself from this point forward.

this is the best deal at the moment... y cold?
#33
Nice deal for High Street. Heat added.

With Quidco works out at about £36 and Im not too bothered if it runs late. Seeing as I will be pre-occupied with Borderlands.

Also on a side note Coolshop are hoping to get a signed delivery for £2. So your quidco will cover the delivery cost! :pirate:
