This seems like a good price.

I've just about exhausted COD4 so this may be the thing to move on to.

CeX only give £4 for the PC version, according to the website :-(

Their website isn't usually too far off Game/Gamestation's prices.

You'll be bitterly disappointed unfortunately.
#7
Yeah, the singleplayer is not in the same league as COD4.

Not tried the MP myself.
#8
That is also tosh unfortunately.

I tried it recently on MP and I don't think I've been as bored with a Multiplayer experience since the one time I tried out World of Warcraft.

Do you get all the map packs too?

Yes! Joys of playing any of the CODs on PC is that you don't have to pay for any of the map packs

Call of Duty games are largely a game for online multiplaying. CoD4 broke the trend and had an absolutely incredible single player campaign, but really, how many people would buy CoD just for the single player?

Anyway, Ive played and enjoyed CoD4. Moving onto CoD:WaW though, I actually enjoy it. So the "bitterly disappointed" comment is just his personal opinion and by no means the general consensus. If I were you, I would try out the demo to find out for yourself.

Im seriously thinking of going for this deal... at the moment I have a, umm... "dodgy copy" but can't play the zombie mode with mates through it. £15 doesnt seem like a bad price at all to get a fully working online version - browse server list, join *any* server etc etc etc.

good price only because PC owners get the map packs for free

The COD5 multiplayer is awesome on Xbox, but I heard that the PC version is dead. Maybe that has changed recently with the price drops and all.

Single player is garbage though. Made by a different developer than COD4.

I enjoyed COD5 , Treyarch did a great job much to the dismay of the Infinity Ward fanbois . Its the same bloody game just different WW2 skins .

Hot and a good game, Nazi Zombies is worth the entry fee alone.

If by great job you mean rehash of the same old thing that's been done time and time before then I would agree with you.

I much prefer COD2, but then again that may just be me.
