Seeing as the cashback is credited to your cdiscount account, will you actually be getting the money itself or just credit to spend at thier shop?
#3
7.5% Quidco avaliable too.
[mod]#4
Hi moody - this will be credited back onto your account to spend on CDiscount :)

Thanks calmacuk :)

there appears to be no indication to trouser sizes - is this just for the suit jacket?
#6
Cheers, still a good deal!

good point - not sure i would put my faith in any company at the moment!

On some of the other Calvin Klein suits it says that the trousers are 6" 'narrower' than the jacket you order i.e. if you order a 44" jacket, you will get 38" trousers, 42" jacket you will get 36" trousers etc.

No mention on this particular suit though, so it's very confusing!

where is this information? sorry, couldn't see this on the product page

by the way it appears cash back applies for many items as per the front page and not just this particular suit. tell me if im wrong!

makes you wonder really. selling most things at cut prices suggests shifting stock to free up cash but this is somewhat contradicted by them offering repayments as a method of payment

the diesel jeans look a reasonable price too

Yes, you are right - they been having quite a few cashback promotions lately and atm they are giving 50% cashback on womenswear., menswear, sport & leisure

Yes, I'd say they would be trustworthy as they are a pretty big concern in Europe and have just recently launched in the UK. A quick google should give you more info on them

All the clothing has 50% cash back/account credit as already posted http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/308356/50-cashback-on-all-products-in-mens/
Is it worth posting every individual item?

I dont think anyone is going to post every single item!

This is the deal of the day plus it has a considerable reduction on it - so I personally think its worth the post. If any other members see any other good deals too where there is a good reduction - then i would also say its worth a post.
#18
Has anyone ever returned anything to this company?

Great deal on the CK suit but a little wary if it doesnt fit me etc so any experiences of anyone who has returned something would be good.

I disagree, if it was 50% off a selection of items then thats understandable but as it's for ALL items then posting individual items seems a bit silly as everyone on here knows how to use a website. Surely one post covers the lot?

Its not 50% Off items - its 50% cashback and if we just posted deals that just consisted of that cashback, then I could see where you are coming from. But, as I mentioned before - its a one day deal (deal of the day), the suit also has a considerable reduction (even if the rrp its overinflated, £199.99 is still a good price for a CK suit) .... then you have the £100 cashback

Its your right to disagree - but this has been discussed over and over again with regards to posting individual items in sales etc and the outcome has always been that its ok . Personally i feel one post for everything means people miss out on a lot of good deals.
#21
I could not see any mention of £100 cashback on their website.

Most 'high end' suits have unfinished trousers (usually 38") and usually the shop will take them up for you. In this instance you will probably have to do it yourself. I guess that they think if you're spending so much on a suit you can afford to pay extra to get the trousers taken up;-)

Personally, whilst this might appear a good deal you really need to try on these suits before buying as the sizing can be hit and miss. Ideally you will need to be 6ft tall and your waist size shouldnt be the same as your chest:-D

Using Marks and Spencer as an example they offer three jacket lengths and four trousers lengths (inc the big and tall range) and you can buy them seperately to ensure a better fit.

Not voted either way as you're paying £100+ for a suit that will probably be ill fitting and no better quality than those in the sale at M & S

I was looking for a cheap suit, mainly for interviews, but then I saw this deal.

I know the really cheap suits do look cheap, but how cheap can you go without compromising? (I'm not saying this is a cheap suit by the way - has anyone got one of these?).

And would you think this would be a good quality suit?

so if you have a big bum they you get a tent as a jacket:roll:

alternatively is you have man boobs or a super sized fat stomach, you have to wear drain pipe trousers

You should try reading.
"Trouser waist size is 6 inches less than jacket waist size. i.e 40 inch jacket will have a 34 inch waist trouser. Leg length is regular." Source - the website advertised!

Before you buy make sure you are getting a bargain.

When i was looking at suits for a wedding in the summer TK Maxx were selling CK suits for £99 not sure if they still have them, i didnt buy as they didnt have my size

Just take care folks
#33
Was just about to post the same thing as the poster above.

I have had a number of CK suites from TK Maxx for £99, this does not seem a great deal for this item.
#34
great suit good price rep + heat added
#35
Got loads of CK suits in TK Maxx for under £100. Was in there today and nearly got one myself

.............. and regular leg length would be 30? 32?

Sorry but, I would still take care on sizing on this deal.

If anyone is brave enough to buy one please post a pic to prove me wrong:-D

I still think suits where you can't source the jacket and trousers seperately are a bit hit and miss.
#37
Can anyone vouch for having ordered and received good service from this outfit? No pun intended
#38
Definitley a strong company based on their credentials and the info other people have posted in terms of market capitalisation, I would be confident in buying from them. Also I recognise some of the names of the shops in other countres where I have visited such as monoprix in France. If you are unsure then don;t take the risk or just make sure you pay on your credit card to give some extra coverage.

Also it is nice to see a company offer instalment payments at no additonal cost to the consumer, anything over £75 can be paid for in 3 installments, which is quite refreshing and ma help people budget better in the current financial climate.
#39
Personally i think they are misleading people with £50 cashback , when it is in fact credit back into your account to spend with them . Stopped me buying something.
#40
These deals are ridiculously misleading saying cashback, because it isnt cashback is it, not the bargain its made out to be.

Cold from me for being such a misleading deal. Title clearly states cashback, not account credit!
