Thr price will be £19.95 all day tomrorow until 7pm

Following from the award-winning S30, Cambridge Audio have produced a matching centre speaker.

As you'd expect from Cambridge Audio, the S50 centre speaker is packed full of technology and combines performance with value to make for a class-leading prospect. As with the S30's and S70's, at the heart of this new design lie twin, deceptively powerful, composite bass units. With their phase caps and long throw cones, they help the S50 deliver a strong, powerful soundstage with excellent front speaker integration. Matching this is a soft dome tweeter whose state-of-the-art motor system means that higher frequencies are smooth, superbly controlled and detailed. Taken together, the drive units produce a seamless quality to the sound, making the S50 an ideal centre speaker for whatever front speakers you use.

As with its sister speakers, the S50 uses a smart charcoal and dark oak finish with smoothly contoured edges for maximum style and minimum sound distortion.

Great as an upgrade centre speaker and even better when partnered with the matching S70 or S30 speakers, the S50 is the missing link we've been waiting for!

Shame they haven't also reduced the S30 or S70's to under £100!
With this deal buying the set saves you £50 on buying all 3 as a pack.

You just never know do you? I am buying this now but may wait a week or two for the others just in case they come down. I do not need to change my system immediately.....worth the wait? It might be.

It would work but probably not sound all that great :) Designed more for dialogue rather than full range.

This will work well in most domestic systems.

#25
good price but not sure if its suitable for my home cinema which already has 5.1 speakers and built in amp.
#26
Is this a worthy upgrade to my KEF cresta centre?
#27
Would this work with my Lg hb405su blu-ray surround sound inplace of the centre speaker?

I am not keen on the current centre speaker looking identical to the satellites, it looks silly sat in front of my tv screen.

So what else would I need to add to this to make a decent system for home theater? I can't do 5.1 in my room because of the dimensions.
#31
So it says Oak in the header but on the website it has it as silver/light oak. Do we know which it will be?

You would need a AV Receiver, two front speakers (S30 or S70) and a subwoofer (S80 or S90), speaker cable and a subwoofer lead.

I have put the wrong pic up, initially it said oak but then the link goes to light oak.

I think we can take it as light oak but you could always take copy of front page and say it says oak...
