Great deal! £170 at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fujifilm-Finepix-F200EXR-Digital-Camera/dp/B001SN6XQI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1282145019&sr=8-1

Sorry - I now realise that this is a third party seller, but my point was just as a price comparison to show how good the M&S deal is :)

That's not amazon (it's third party seller).

The F70EX is £118 from Fuji direct (with code P832A4V3T8MES). I think it's the better choice between the two, but that's just personal.

this is better than an entry level panasonic.

I have this and paid over £200 when it came out last year. Excellent camera with very good low light capabilities. I just leave it in EXR mode and it takes care of the rest. Battery life is not the greatest, but can pick up compatible batteries on eBay for £2 or £3. Highly recommended at this price.

What a ridiculous comment!

This camera will blow any £100 panasonic out of the water. It will only be matched by the Panasonic TZ series for picture quality. However, the Fuji takes the best low light pics of any manufacturer so if that's what you're looking for look no further.

Hot deal. Same with the F70EX deal posted above.

The F70EX has a greater zoom length but has a smaller sensor so not quite as good picture quality, particularly in low light.

Both great deals though

You are correct about the sensor size, but in real life, the picture quality is the same. Plus you have the bigger lens (but a smaller viewing screen).

How doe sthis compare to the F80 exr m8? Can get that for 135.99 Refurb> Just ooking for an easy camera with point and shoot if poss and good optical lens which is good in low light.

I'll buy it if it's still available in Newcastle store Friday and at a 120 squids. At work all day tomorrow, not a hope in hell of getting there

Jessops have it for £129 - put this code in and get it for £122

Dam ive just ordered a panasonic tz6 for £100, think its coming tommorow

Really like the fuji's though, im tempted to order one and send the panasonic back.
GRR Pet2000 why didn't u tell me about that code earlier lol. Btw no idea how it works, £51 off the f70 but only £13 off the f80

I bought one for photographing my daughter's wedding. It produced some of the worst grainiest photos I've ever seen - complete dud. Very disappointed indeed with it.

If you leave it on auto it will select way too high an ISO level, hence the grain.

Where did u get the tz6 for this price m8?

do not use AUTO ISO hence the grain as someone mentioned above may not be best for auto point and shoot person. fx40 is good unsure about low light but reviewed well was the deal from m&S last time, i got one but now got a lx3, mines new up for grab! on my 3bay.
Best point and shoots auto are like Canon , sony range at the high range price!! i.e canon s90, panasonic lx3, best low light and photo but at a price of over £250+ what ur getting is great for the price. The pana TZ8 tz10 are decent too!

What would you suggest ? I read in reviews that the exr setting, which I presume to BE the auto, they suggest leave on.

Once again, Newcastle doesn't have what the southern stores DO have.
And Newcastle store is one of the biggest in the bloody country.
I was after this too.

m8, just wanted to say thanks. Went for this and totally amazed compared to the more expensive camera we had. Just took shots in a dark room (ie no lights and looks amazing even with that!) so even for us absolute bargain. Now for a case.
Thanks again!!!
