Does anyone know if the charger can recharge 1 battery only, or does it have to charge in pairs?
#7
it can recharge 4 AA or AAA
#8
Hmm, ok price but only if you really need them. I have 4 chargers like this already, now if it was an intelligent charger it would be a bargain.
#9
Sorry for being thick but how do the adapters work?

Am right in saying you can put a standard size battery in the larger case?

Cheers

I would say in pairs

Yep, a bit pointless really because C and D Cell batteries are that size for a reason, AA/AAA wouldn't last 10 minutes in them.

Depends on the device you use the adaptors in, 4xAA (with adaptors) power my bin for months, so not pointless at all ;)

I'd personally have preferred it if they'd left those adapters out and took a couple of quid off the price. Ended up going for 24 AAA Kodak Max for £4.89 instead, as I already have a AA adapter, but desperately need plenty of AAA ones for my headphones :)

But even then the C and D adapters are pretty useless, you can pick up similar chargers and batteries in Home Bargains cheaper.

Voted hot, nice package.

If you only need AA's, go for this one (batteries are also better at 2500mAh) -

be careful with these guys - they sometime sell very cheap but faulty products. bought an iPad dock and it did not work, but they have so far refused to take it back. I keep writing to them, but they don't even reply.

I have a camlink recharger and batteries which i bought some time ago and you can only charge either 2 at a time or 4 at a time... thats it. but not many products out there which use a single battery.

Hi enggrob
Just wondering if you have not received a reply, how they have refused to take it back?

what's charge speed like?

what's charge speed like?

Overnight. But that's actually not a bad thing if it's a relatively 'cheap' charger, as cheap rapid chargers, which don't sense the batteries accurately, can damage them by overcharging. With a slower charger like this, even if you forget and leave it on all day, it is unlikely to damage the battery like a rapid charger would, with it's much higher voltage.

These any good for vibrators?
(Just out of interest mind)
