  Batteries are a lot like women. They need to be treated gently, taking time to insert erm charge slowly. If you rush the erm charging process it's a meaningless quickly that won't last. Ultimately a series of hot exiting quickies will eventually lead to sleeping in separate beds, alcoholism and knackered batteries. If you want love or batteries that hold their charge, treat them nice and charge them slow.

  I use a 15 minute charger on all of my batteries. No, it isnt good for them but it sure is handy :)
