Its really not that great TBH. The sausages are shriveled up, the bacon is hard all from the heat lamps.

The continental breakfast looks appealing and the drink selection looks like it includes the normal hot drinks and juices. It's worth a try surely?

You sound like a dood who goes for brekkie @ 9.30am lol

Go at a normal early time and it's all fresh and tasty.

Mushrooms 99p extra and tea or coffee is 1.99 extra, so it's really £7 minus a couple of pence. And no mention of orange juice either.
#5
Pop and juices are extra, as is tea and coffee, although they are refillable (except juice). Ingredient quality does very between branches - had some very briefly sausages from Kingston Park, but great in Wolviston. Normal everyday price.

always £3.99 so not much of a deal really
#9
agree with the others this isn't a deal its always this price

Few I've been in have been ok and decent sausages, like above the £2 tea tops up the bill but £6 for brekki ain't bad for anything u can eat or drink.

Last month a guy near us had 3 plate fulls and not talking level plate but heaped.

I'm not going to vote on this one, as it's hit and miss, The breakfast is ok, but i have a local cafe that is better, problem with toby is the charges for drinks, this ends up making the deal quite expensive, so Go Enjoy as much food as you can eat, but ask for tap water to drink.

If it's the same price at 930 it should be the same quality

Breakfasts are apparently changing soon to include mushrooms and tinned tomatoes.
Heard from an employee in Kingston park last week. Said it was changing this week ....

Frankie & Benny's also do a great brekkie for £5 & it's cooked to order. £1.75 for bottomless tea/coffee, but much nicer!

I agree they do a good breakfast but ya only get whats on the plate. This deal is unlimited. So your paying more for less and when i have been to tobys the quality is good so must be certain locations
#19
had a frankie and bennys breakfast at the forge shopping centre glasgow recent - have to say it was one of the foulest meals i have ever had - left the great majority of it - as late for football diddnt make a fuss but you would have to be desparate to eat that muck

And don't forget the Premier Inn £8.75 AYCE with FREE under-16s!

Toby ends up costing over a tenner when you include juice, cereal, toast, coffee.

This 'deal' always is cold.

Ive had this before, and it was ok, but overall a bit bland and I think its wrong they charge for drinks separate, they should charge a fiver and everything included
We had breakfast when we stayed at a Premier Inn last weekend in Newcastle (it was attached to a Taybarns) Breakfast was 7.95 per adult kids under 16 free
Luckily we have two of each so it worked out equivalent to £4 each, and OMG it was amazing, all fresh and unlimited, and we most definitely made the most of it!

I like to see that Kids do come in handy for some things.

Why is it "wrong"? As someone who doesn't drink tea and coffee, I'm quite happy not being forced to pay for it anyway!

Premier Inn breckie is the best. Arguably the most choice and three people can eat AND drink for £8.75 total.

Are you serious. Premier Inn breakfast is £8.75 per person and kids go free. Three people cannot eat for £8.75.

Toby Carvery breakfast been this price for years so not really a deal.

Worth it for bacon/cheese/potato/onion hash alone. DEEEEEEEEEEEELICIOUS.

Agreed.

I worked for Whitbread once and the breakfast's are amazing. I used to get 50% off (sometimes free, depending on the manager). :)

I'm not promoting them. As a company, they pay **** and are below average but the food is good.

I think he's referring to himself and his two dwarf girlfriends - hence the 3 people comment :)

Are you joking??
My local café and I would say many other peoples serves much better quality food than premier inn.
I assume you still work there?

I totally agree with you as I experienced their breakfast deal about 4 months ago (a TOBY INN on the outskirts of Bolton) and with coffee (which cost £3 each and was lukewarm, complained and again received a lukewarm one then gave up) it ended up costing £14 for myself and the wife......never again.

I'd suggest Wetherspoons, £4.50ish for a large breakfast, pretty much 2 of everything, and I'm big, and I've never felt like I could have gone back for a second plateful after one. All good quality stuff imo too. Can't say I was impressed with Toby.
#34
Cold, it has always been this price.
#35
Been this price for ages and agree about poor quality (from my experience at Brentwood Toby) I certainly haven't been back. Has anyone tried breakfast at Harvester, been meaning to but not had a chance yet?

Agree never again hash Brown's swimming in grease and eggs burned to a crisp on the bottom but raw on top.

This varies massively depending in location. Went to one in Birmingham and it was great. The one in Leeds (not sure which one) had the rock hard sausages referred to above.
Take a chance for £4!

Deal is a bit confusing. Op saw it in harvester yet the title says Toby carvery. These are totally different places.

For harvester, the all you can eat breakfast is relatively new and does include certain drinks as part of the price.

Unsure about Toby carvery as never used their all you can eat breakfast. I assume from the feedback here that theirs doesn't include drinks.

We used to do Sunday dinner at Toby to start they were nice good quality and reasonable amount of meat not any more the food is crap the price is steep better food at a fayre and square. We did do breakfast once at our local Toby and sorry it was early and it was crap, never again.
