A candy floss maker, I have seen many priced at over 30 pounds. I have used one , very quick and easy to use, will keep the kids occupied for while making it.

i would assume you add food colouring.

Spend hours making it and hours at the dentist getting your kid's teeth filled or removed.

these are used as treats and as long as you and your children already take care of yours and their teeth then it is not a problem

I think I may get one for my daughter, quite like a bit of candy floss myself too.

Edit: Scrap that, this review has killed it for me.......

"i really really wanted to keep this but its just too slow. only takes in about a table spoon of sugar and takes time to make the cotton candy. everyone lines up and it takes a while to make everyone a cone. also unless you have the cotton candy flavors its useless because it just taste like normal sugar and look white. i used it twice and returned it. was looking for a candy maker for so long, the hunt is on again."

I quite fancy this, ebay item number 190369326070

Bought 1 at xmas. Great little machine

Candy Floss vendors add a powder called flossine that they mix with the sugar for adding colour and flavour
#18
I use to work somewhere and helped out once or twice with candy floss making. We just used food colouring and mixed it into the sugar (granulated). There are specialised mixtures you can buy, as me and few of us once bought piña colada flavoured sugar mixture which was very nice.

But if you want flavoured stuff use food flavouring with the colouring.

Not cheap stuff, ebay item number 350206286964

Mind you.....Packed in 1 lb tins enough to flavour 100 pounds of sugar, that's a lot of candy floss!

Not sure what they were really expecting, especially for the price, it's a (fairly basic) machine, not a candyfloss alchemy kit.

Good deal if you want one, and for normal people who use it as a treat for kids.

Can't wait for channel 5 to make an overly long useless documentry about these with thick tw*ts who give their kids candy floss for breakfast and candy floss for toothpaste, "It aint right these bein sold to us and not sayin it aint healfy, I fought it was good for me kids as I put strawberry flavour innit and thats part of their 5 a day innit, and anyway I lets em wash it dan wiv sunny D"

You put the Colouring in to the Sugar granules & mix completely until you have the desired colour & leave to dry for a hour or so before adding to mixer.

picked mine up today, and tried it. Absolutely loved it, made really good quality of candy floss although only made a small one each time, but it doesn't really take that long for it to make. Really good fun and really easy to wash!
