I don't think so, I'm guessing it's about to be discontinued.
I saw the same camera for £319.99 in the Manchester branch of London Camera Exchange c/w 18-55 lens, unfortunately it's only available from that particular branch.
(Handy if you live in the area)

oos online and non instore anywhere near me... even though this is currently the cheapest price it has been cheaper in previous months... (not voted)

Yeh its a decent price but you are better off paying that extra bit more for a 500D or a 550D. These can be picked up pn eBay at a reasonable price.

I have the 500D which I think is very basic for an SLR. Two people in my class at college have the 1000D and my 500D seems way better.

Yes I agree, but at the same time, if you're only starting out there's quite a price difference between £300 and £450 considering you'll need to buy a lens or two as well...

Much better to buy a cheaper camera and spend the saving on a decent lens.
