if you've got friends/relatives in the states and can get it brought over, or you're planning on going over there soon, check out Amazon.com. They're doing the Rebel T2i (what they're calling the 550d), an extra 55-250mm lens and a filter all for £550. Ordered myself yesterday for a buddy to bring over a Christmas.

Equivalent twin lens packs over here are £800ish i think. Obviously practicality issues and warranty but a good saving if you can get it.

Fully agree. It works for me personally but won't for the vast majority. For this reason I've not bothered posting it separately
