Normal offer, nothing special.

Was a better deal last week, body only- £1990 most places on Black Friday deals. I expect it to be the same again shortly.

New 5D also expected to be announced March/April 15 - so worth waiting a few months for some cheapness.

The other avenue is go with some of the many retailers that so the same offer - AND allow you to do it on 0% interest.

Although i agree with pretty much all of this, like with all technology waiting for a deal or the next best thing usually means you end up with nothing!

I have been waiting on the mk4 for 8months lol, could have had 8months use of the mk3!

If you are after the grip, currys also give 2year warranty.

Your text hereGet a holiday in Thailand, go to MBK, go to Fotofile on the 5th floor and you'll get a bargain compared to the UK price, some might winge " grey import" " no Canon warranty", me, I bought it last year for £1450, which included VAT back at the airport. Never had any need to use the warranty, saved 100's was more important, bought myself the Tammy 24_70 f2 for £400, another bargain (_;)

Not heard of anything on the MK4 yet so interested to hear how you heard it would be out March/April?

I've had a 5D3 for two 26 months now. I'd like to upgrade if a Canon can deliver.

I don't think we will see a Mk 4 till the end of 2015. I'm happy with the Mk 3 at the moment

Ditto.. we're well overdue a XX0d body, and an X0d won't be far away, plus there talks of a 1dx2, so I don't think the 5d4 will be out before then. The 1dx2 will have all the new latest and greatest stuff, and they will want to sell that at a premium for a while before the features make their way into the 5d series. I may be wrong, because rumours and speculation are just that at the end of the day, but I certainly wouldn't be holding off buying the 5d3 if you need/want it...

Several websites such as Ken Rockwell, DPreview, Filmmaker etc, have all recently detailed that the new Canon 5D mark IV will be presented on 17 March 2015; with deliveries to be made in mid-April (possibly a few days before the NAB Show (11 to 16 April)).

Again, this is all website based and not direct from Canon... however according to a Japanese source close to Canon; they have finished all tests with MKIV prototypes and is 100% certain that they are to be presented at the CP fair in Japan in February. He was later further quoted as saying 'The Test Cameras worked very fine, Canon to now make the big splash at the CP show in Feb, definate'.

...have been considering either CANON 5D or NIKON. Any one with experience on its comparisons and merits (pros and cons) in nutshell?
