Great price for this camera.

Voting cold though because I cannot add it to the basket... keeps giving me a server error each time.

'Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 403'

Voting hot as this is a fantastic price for a quality DSLR and I'm a die hard Nikon person!

Amazing price & amazing camera. Far and away the best image quality you'll get at anywhere near this price.
#11
Kinda wishing I'd not bought my new 50D now.

And that makes it a cold deal????????????

This kind of voting is enough to make people give up trying to share good deals. Bear in mind the poster knew about it already and took the trouble to share it.

You don't have to vote at all you know.

Feck, I think that I'm gonna buy this. Dunno whether I should get the kit lens or body only?

Depends on how much extra the kit is and what you get. I got the 400d with kit lens and it was only £30 or so more than the body only. For that it was a great starter lens BUT its now been replaced and is never used (although I'd expect a cam like this to ship with much better lens than the 18-55mm I got with mine anyway!)...... for me it was worth it, but if your'e talking £100+ you may be best to put the money to better use

Where do you add the discount code at? Nothing in the basket area

Hot Hot Hot!

Will you stop the bawfest about people voting it cold please,

Voting things hot and cold is all about personal opinion and personal appeal. If this doesn't appeal to someone, then for them it is not a hot deal. If you want to go to a site that just reports what the cheapest price on things are, then just go to pricerunner, kelkoo, google shops or something like that.

This is such a niche camera that 99.9%+ of the population could never justify spending the money on, and hence has no personal appeal to them.

It is a fantastic price however, for a fantastic camera, and if this is what you're looking for then its an absolute bargain.
#24
make sure you buy with next day delivery - they are useless with stock control and will mess you around as they have with me for 2 orders out of 3.
#25
The code doesn't work with the kit lens. So body only!
#26
This one has better resolution! Wonder how much it would be for a colour one?

I'd hope someone spending £1.6K on a pro-level full frame DSLR would know how to spot the difference between body only and kit!!

If you need to ask a question like that, or even consider the kit lens for the 5Dmk2, then I'd suggest that it isnt the camera for you ;-)

It isn't the camera that takes great images ...
#29
The 450d is also available for £419. Just ordered one....
#30
Cold 'cos its ridiculous

The kit lens is also an L lens. Your comment is not helpful at all

its after you have logged on to your account, or made an account, and just before it asks for credit card details.

Oooooooo, hark at her!!! Well I was trying to be helpful . Anyway, you are unfortunately WRONG as someone at our place bought one of these as a retirement gift to themselves. They know nothing of DSLRS and wanted a treat as the price is far from inhibitive to a LOT of people nowadays you know!!!

If you cant be constructive and just want to be a smartarse can I suggest that you just shut it in future :x

arggh - if only i had the money now - this is cheaper than the expected price of the 7d due out soon!
suspended#37
It's a shame they don't sell the Powershot G10 & G11 as I would love to get 20% off either of those!

I voted your comment as Cold. Ridiculous. Don't bother voting at all if you cannot appreciate a good deal no matter what the total cost is. :whistling:
#39
fantastic price. Just got 7 of them. :-D

Does anyone know when the code DIGI20 expires?
