Is this scanner any good?
Looks good value for a basic scanner

Canon website says Vista compatible, link, will consider this as my last one wasnt.

I have the Lide20, I bought it probably more than 5 years ago, its reliable and sturdy, very easy to use and very small. Mine also came with a little plastic clip on thing so you can sit it up on its side so u don't know its there till you need it. The lid lifts up a bit at the hinged end so u can scan in a thick book with the lid sort of shut too. I have another scanner built in to a brother dcp-340cw printer but this one is much better with better software.
Fully Vista compatible accoridng to Canon website.

Does anyone actually buy standalone scanners any more?
Just to confirm, I have got one of these connected to my work laptop which is running vista business,

A good little scanner, nothing fancy, but relaible and reasonably fast.
