Was in Tesco's today and saw this camcorder.
Was originally £227.97 then was reduced to £149.97 but has now been reduced again to £139.97!

Had a quick look and it's £199.99 on play.com.
Found it for £338.85 here!! http://www.aabro.co.uk/technology-machines-22/presentation-equipment-28/cameras-203/canon-dc230-camcorder-video-7inch-screen-7178.htm?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=7178&utm_campaign=froogle

The stock varies from store to store.

These aren't ex-demo as they have dummy units on display.

Heating up for ya OP.

Thanks :)

They had quite a few electricals reduced so may be nationwide.

DVD recorders are history so be careful.

This camcorder is a Which best buy.
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago for £159 from therange.co.uk, but it was their last one (and clearly ex-display).
To be honest, I don't think the picture quality is all that great, but I've never owned a camcorder so quite possibly don't know what I'm talking about.

Same here..

i will the idea of record, then remove data media, then record onto fresh media...

Mini DVDs are cheap, the only down side is the recording time.

No true - but the actual concept of recording onto a disc in real time is out the window. Its all HD or SD now. Solid state is the way forward - fewer moving parts etc. No crashes - or damage when you drop it;-)
