Doesn't the £250 cashback on this lens only apply if this lens is bought with the 7d mk2 camera?

Suspect it's as good as any but it's primarily for stills.

Conflicted here - whether to spend money on any more Canon glass when I will likely move to a mirrorless camera in about 12 months, most probably from either Sony or Fuji. This is a ridiculously good lens though but it is lenses like these which is why both Nikon and Canon will never try to cannibalise their DSLR business by coming up with a decent mirrorless camera (because they think that people who have invested so much in lenses will never leave them), and I do think mirrorless is the future.

Making this cheaper than Panamoz. Hot!

wow great price

I have used my dslr for couple years now as use my Sony nex. although it's no substitute for a dslr it's 90% there for most every day pics. its alot lighter as I was fed up lugging hefty dslr kit about.

CANON EF-S 10-22 mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Wide-Angle Zoom Lens looks good at £358.40- £45 Canon cashback + Quidco. Coming out around £310.

Could you tell me which one is better, canon or nikon? Ee have a fujifilm at the moment but I hate it. I can't take good pictures with it. I'm a beginner so don't need a very expensive camera. I'm thinkinkg about nikon D3200.

I'm having a hard time stopping myself. I already have the 70-200 F4 IS. I don't really NEED 2.8, but the II version is nice indeed...

I think it's best to just walk away...

If you buy the lens at this price it will hold its resale price at the more usual higher price. It is unlikely that the market will be swamped with them given the investment required.
