Good price, I've seen used ones for the same money.

I assume the people who are voting this cold don't appreciate the difference between a full frame SLR and the camera on their phone.

I imagine they're feeling cheated because it doesn't even zoom. This is about the best quality bokeh you can get for this little money unless you go manual and get the samyang 85mm f/1.4

single best investment for anyone with a canon dslr, ff or crop. its build and optics is truly amazing for this money.. had mine for 4+yrs now.

I have the Samyang and at 1.4 is woefully soft. I've only heard good things about this lens though and if, the time that I bought the Samyang, it was this cheap I'd have quite possibly gone with this. Also manual is a nightmare at 1.4 in uncontrolled situations.

Most 1.4s are soft. it's an inherent issue with wide apertures and not a specific flaw of the Samyang. I have an expensive 1.4 and it's also soft if you pixel peep, but thats not what these lenses are about. if you want to avoid it sticking to these 1.8s is a good idea, but I generally prefer the relative sharpness of super wide lenses because 99.999% of the time images are viewed where that softness is a non-issue and the subject isolation is a huge benefit.
