Brilliant lens, beautiful build quality and super sharp.
Bought one a couple of months ago, turned my EOS-M into pretty much the perfect landscape camera.

The lens in this post is a wide-angle zoom, designed for use with the Canon EOS-M compact system camera. In describing a lens, the figure(s) quoted in mm is the focal length, in effect, a measure of how wide a field of view the image will cover. 18-135mm covers from wide-angle right through to telephoto, and is probably fine for your intended usage. The figure f3.5-5.6 refers to the aperture (the amount of light the lens is able to get to the image sensor). The figures you quote are typical for a lens of this type. The smaller the figure, the higher the light gathering ability of the lens. the 'IS' stands for Image Stabilizer, a mechanism built into the lens that controls shake, allowing you to produce sharp images in poorer light / at slower shutter speeds.

Read about cameras and lenses before forking out hundreds pounds, understand them more or you could lose big money buying lenses that don't do what you want.

Got one for £261 from Amazon back on October 29th - I think they were (almost) price matching a marketplace seller.
