Before anyone asks.....

No it's not an IS lens.

What is an IS lens, and will this accept non digital camera EOS lenses?

IS = Image Stabilised

It's an EOS body, so will take EOS lenses :thumbsup:

hope that helps

Thats good, as I have an 'old' EOS 1000Fn which has several lenses. the lens on this is a biot limiting, would have preferred something like a 35-80mm though.

I thought I had read somewhere that there are issues in using pre digital EOS lenses, something to do with focal length or distand from the sensor to the lens. Must be mistaken! thanks.
The only difference is the price. Its the same camera and lens. Dont forget to use the coupon above! Brings it down to £415

thats what i thought. thanks.
PS. If anyone is a student (In Photography), they can claim £50 cash back from Canon which will they can get it for £365,
Has anyone mentioned Quidco ?. Thats another 3%. Happy Days.
The lenses should be fine on this.

Correct. The FL change, due to the distance between the sensor and film from the lens. My 55 to 250 IS lens is the equivalent of about 80 to 380 (or there abouts) in an film camera.

BTW.... just looking at your avi...... is it you thats going to Lovina?

Yes, Lovina her we come, last two weeks of November! Who are you?

So is a 18-55mm digi camera lens more like a 35-80mm film lens?
Still in Stock. Canon d450 kits at £519 all gone. Only the £549 ones left. Damn. Should not have logged on to quidco.
Did anyone receive there’s yet ? Mines not been despatched :( They charged my account on the 8th but the order hasn’t shipped yet...
