Why the cold votes?
This initially achieved 129° before it was prematurely expired!
#2
Could be due to it needing Quidco - not everyone has it.... Voted hot though

There really is NO reason not to have quidco, as it doesnt cost you anything upfront and is completed online. Even if you didnt have quidco before this deal, you could still save yourself £6.56 by joining now.

I do totally agree with you :P I use it daily.... but its a fact that people have complained about that in the past....

Prematurely expired? if you mean this post it was for an Amazon deal, for which the link is now dead, so stop please stop whining!

The deal is still live it must be just that amazon have changed the address. And one of the posts directs you to the correct page.

I would have fixed the link in that post had it not been expired, therefore it was prematurely expired. It's not whining, it's a fact.
The deal was still available, from a number of sources, and yet some felt it necessary to expire the post. There should be a way of 'un-expiring' a post on here, perhaps something the developers should include in their next iteration of the site.

I normally just ask that it be unexpired by an admin... normally works!

To be honest, I'd probably go down the Amazon route, as it's free delivery, and I haven't had much luck with Quidco.
That 30 days price promise is pretty good too.

This currys deal posted by Sharpe is cheaper at £317.11

... and yet the heat is still rising on this deal?

Perhaps you should chill out a bit gizmouk.

The link you provided lists prices for the 400D body only, whereas the op's deal includes an 18-55mm lens.

If you look at the deals with a lens kit you'll see that the op's offer is very good indeed.

Because the "deal" is so bloody damn expensive!!!! :x
Even Jessops are beating that price !

After the Canon Cashback (£45), I count 21 dealers beating your price of £333

I think you should remove your post immediately

Your link is for 400D body only which is why those are cheaper.

This is the link that you should have posted for the 400D plus kit lens

You can also use your egg card at currys - which will knock that deal down another 5% to about £300 pounds.

Apparently not - SPRING25 excludes all Digital SLRs
However - code TENPROMO gets -£10 so slightly cheaper without postage!

Currys have the EOS 400D with 18-55mm lens kit at £394.99, they have £15 off discount code - AWOFF15, which takes the price to £379.99, delivery is free, canon cashback is £45, which takes the price to £334.99, and quidco for currys is 3.5% for online purchases = £13.30, giving a total price of £321.66
