One of the most popular digital SLRs on the market and its easy to see why. Blending uncompromising performance with ease of use, this model is renowned for its image accuracy and ability to perform in low light, such as dawn and dusk.

The 12.0 megapixel CMOS sensor gives you plenty of detail for up to poster size prints. Other fantastic features include 3.5fps continuous shooting, wide-area 9-point AF system and a large 3.0-inch LCD with Live View mode, plus the EOS Integrated Cleaning System.

This is a better deal than that I posted a few days ago. This means you can buy a better lens separately. (the bundled lens in the kit is poor)

"get a better lens" implies it comes with one... when it doesn't

"buy a better lens" (which is what your post *now* says) implies you have to go and buy one.

with 8% quidco today this potentially weighs in as a super hot deal. Less 30.32 (when it tracks) 318.68 after the £30 cash back from Canon.

Depends on the kind of photography you would do.

I personally like Prime lenses (ie, no zoom)

or this
