Honestly, give it six months and that camera will be under £400. I have a EOS350D. You can't beat it. I paid roughly £600 when they were new.

This is the best price available NOW

I think it's a Thai ladyboy that you met on holiday and are hoping to marry and come live in the uk as soon as her/his visa comes through.

I can understand why you would think the price would fall quickly, that is the traditional way with cameras and IT products. Unfortunately the exchange rate has taken a huge chunk out of that, so £500 now equates to £400 or so in August last year. I'm quite chuffed that my 450D is still worth more 2nd hand than I paid for it new last summer!

If you want a good deal and don't mind a little work and patience, check out the Canon refurb outlet on Ebay. Some cameras go for ridiculously high amounts, but then identical cameras go for half the amount a few days later! All cameras have a full Canon 12 month warranty etc etc.

Because she's got a nice, firm bum.

are you just bitter because you have an old camera?

p.s. you can beat the 350d, with the 1000d, 400d, 450d, and 500d ;-)
