It's rude to shout.
This is the 60D not 600.
It is not a terrible price, normally £750+ from UK (not grey import) dealers.
Meanwhile am voting this hot as the deal itself is good, despite the cropped sensor.

might aswell get the 600d. Barely any difference. If you plan on buying a lens for this you might aswell look at the 7d http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canon-EOS-7D-Digital-SLR-Camera-18-135-EF-S-Lens-Refurbished-WARRANTY-/390410302556?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item5ae644745c.
60d is plastic body, same sensor as the 600d and lacks some of the video features such as the digital zoom allowing you to zoom 10 times retaining the 1080p quality.
550d/600d or go for the 7d. 60d is a weak stop gap i feel.

As an owner of the 60D (having upgraded from the 550D), I'd certainly agree that there's some merit to your argument. However, don't overlook other features such as the 9 cross-type AF points, and the much brighter pentaprism viewfinder (it's really helped with some of the macro shots when I can't use live view).
There's also a nicer increase in FPS, the wheel to change aperture which speeds things up a little when shooting manual, and I believe the polycarbonate shell is sturdier than that of the 550D at least. But I do understand that not all of these things are important to everyone. I was in the fortunate position of not having to spend much at all to upgrade, but can appreciate why one might be satisfied with their 600D, or spend extra for the 7D. It *is* a stop-gap between the two at the end of the day, and it's finally coming down to a price that I think more should at least consider it.
