Good price for the kit,If i were to buy this then i'd sell the lens for around £200 (that's the ebay going rate) so body will work out at £653, a bargain. I'm saving up for the pentax k-5 though.

Won't be able to afford this but this price is amazing the camera is probably the best on the market! Heat added never the less.

I've got this camera and love it for filming, much stronger and better than the 550D! I paid £639 for the 60D body off a popular auction site from a UK seller last year!

If you intend on using this for filming, then I'd keep an eye on Trammell Hudsons website (search magic lantern firmware) as he is creating a firmware upgrade to overcome some of the limitations of the camera for professional filming! Install at your own risk though!

Canon are releasing a 600D in March (not sure why?), which is a cross between the features of the 60D, but in a cheap plastic body of the 550D, so I don't think the 60D will drop in price much more this year!

Also, if you don't own any Canon lenses at present, take a serious look at the similar priced Panasonic GH2, improved features and HDMI output while filming with the new Venus processor which is more advanced than Canon's ageing Divic4 processor (used in the 5Dmk2, 1Dmk4, 7D, 550D, 60D, 600D) which is two and a half years old now and is due an upgrade!

I'm saving up for the pentax k-5 though.

I was going to say what for? But it seems like they might have produced a good camera, still
wouldn't be enough to persuade me from the big boys of Canon and Nikon, their lenses are superior too.

I've only ever shot with one body and one prime, d700 with a 50mm 1.4g, d7000 with a 35mm 1.8dx and now saving up for a pentax 31mm 1.9 limited lens and a pentax k-5

I've got a very good job actually, if you'd paid a little more attention at school you may have seen that I said that "I can't JUSTIFY" not that "I can't AFFORD".... theres a very big difference :p
