Great Price. Too expensive for me. I am looking at the 550D at present.

looks decent, but expensive. Good price for this camera though.

Looking at picking up a DSLR and trying to find the right/best one is rather difficult, especially on a budget.

Have to agree wih you.

Having looked breifly at the specs im going to rubbish my own deal.

I have the 500d, but if i were in need of a new slr id probably pick between the 550d and the 7d. I dont think the 60d offers enough to jusify the price.

This is the best price for the camera available at the moment though...

Looking at the 60D I think the only real improvements are for videographers! HDMI Out, better audio out (not the pathetic AGC controlled audio thats in the 550D & 7D). I've worked out I can sell my 550D and my Zoom H4N audio recorder and buy a 60D and have the advantage of HDMI Out to boot! both the 550D and 60D use the Divic4 processor so you shouldn't see much difference in image quality? or shall I wait another 6 months and see if canon are going to release a 5Dmk3? with a full frame sensor, surely that must be the next one in their product line to have an upgrade???? I hear Canon is working on a Divic5 processor, hopefully it will cure or improve the alaising and moire issues?????????????????? Hmm, decisions, decisions??????????????

That was a good price as its now £1029. I was looking at the HK retailers like DigitalRev and Onestop who sell the 60D at £820 inc p&p and import taxes. But thats only £80 cheaper than Jessops where you can pick it up straight away and if anything goes wrong you dont have to post back to the retailer. Not worth the gamble for me.
